Brittle Battlefields
I am finally reunited with my HeroScape and it is coming with me to Germany after 7 years of living separated. As I was packing today, a 24er cracked. Not too long ago, I had some water pieces break in two. Now, some of the stuff dates back to 2004, but I am still surprised at the brittleness of some of it. And I am really hoping the flight won't do them in.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know a remedy? Jugger It's like football with swords or LARPing without the geeky stuff. In other words, it's awesomely perfect!

I'm no expert, but I believe it's generally a good idea not to store it in areas that experience extremes in temperature.

It has been indoors (in the house) and in plastic bins for all the years. So no temp flux there

It is just something that happens with the tiles. Over the years I have had more tiles break. I've found its not good to leave a battlefield set up for too long, also with temperature fluxuations as previously stated.
