I don't remember owning a book in childhood, because I went through so many of them. The first adult book I remember owning was Twilight Eyes by Dean Koontz.

Mine was this nameless book... It was all furry, brown furr like a bear. It was about this bear that went over the moon or something. Yeah, a good night story.

No, that was about a rabbit not a bear. Similiar though... the book was covered in furr, hopefully fake.

Amazingly enough, a large tome entitled "Norse Gods and Giants"
A complete set of tales of Odin and the Jotuns/Aesir/Vanir gods. I still have it. |
