ELECTRUM INVESTMENT

Units: Court of Owls (180), Hand Ninjas x2, Bullseye, Electra (700) VS TMNT (700)

Damage Dealt: No wounds dealt directly

Electrium Investment: 5 Markers on Bullseye and 1 on Electra, all markers were removed and Bullseye was brought back to life and Electra was healed.

Behind Granite and Lime: Didn't really come into play

Assassin Command: Used a few times in the end game after the Hand Ninjas got picked off.

Charged out with Bullseye and Hand Ninjas to engage the Turtles, Bullseye was able to take down Mikey before falling but he had 5 markers on his card so he came back. Hand Ninjas slowly got picked off and Electra did some damage finishing off Donatello before she got taken out. It ended up being Raph vs Bullseye and a couple of the Court of Owls who didn't have much impact on the fight.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): 4 Court of Owls figures and Bullseye with 2 life left

Assassin Command: Used the Ninjas more this game

KGBeast put the 1 on Luke, 2 on Iron Fist and 3 on Shang-Chi

Jessica Jones and Luke Cage take down KGBeast early before he kills anyone, but the Hand Ninjas are able to suround and finish off Jessica while Tomoe advances and KGBeast comes back. Iron Fist and Luke are able to pick off a handful of Ninjas, before Luke gets overwhelemed by Ninjas. From there it was fairly easy for KGB and Ninjas to clean up Iron Fist and Shang

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): 6 Court of Owls, Tomoe with 3 wounds and 2 Hand Ninjas

Electrium Investment: All Markers on Gamora

Behind Granite and Lime: Hawkeye had some chances to attack the last couple in the SZ but couldn't

Assassin Command: Very useful OM management

Obviously used Gamora early and often, but she got taken out early by Tigra and Talia didn't do much before Gamora got back into the fight and finished off Mockingbird and Tigra, finally getting felled for a second time by Hawkeye. Hawkeye and the last couple of Ants were able to finish off the Court.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: They don't feel over powered, but basically the only think they do that matters is ressurecting an Assassin. Their bonding is just worse than Hand Ninjas so I would choose them for that effect more often. Behind Granite and Lime mostly felt like trinket text but the theme was fun there.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Changing Assassin Command to make it a comparable option to Hand Ninja bonding might make them a more exciting draft. Not sure how I would do that.

Honestly don’t think either Common or Event would really be anything too concerning. Like it’s just regular bonding, not doing anything with multiple activations or other weird stuff. Like working with any Assassin was an intentional design choice I made, not an accident.

But I’m fine with changing it to Unique Hero. I don’t think there would be Common or Event Talons and I don’t really care about connecting them to any of that evil Batmen stuff they were apparently involved in.

I’m fine with Unique Hero only for the bonding, so I’ll just keep it like that unless someone has an issue with it.

I think it's reasonable future proofing. This project has taught me that we often just don't know what we don't know.

Personally, I'm fine with their bonding not being a go to option, since they're behind the scenes guys. It's really meant more as a back-up option. The resurrection power is definitely meant to be the marquee power here, so I want to keep the other powers relatively low key to leave room for it to be fairly potent.

I'm going to go ahead and propose we go to in sanctum playtesting.
