Was the original comic in black and white? You could do a black and white alternate card. Something I thought would have been cool for the Ninja Turtles. Just tossing out what pops in my head

We don't have black and white cards for our Walking Dead zombies, so I'm less keen on that idea, but it could be cool if someone finds good comic art for it.


EDIT: Also, is there a predetermined aesthetic for the Nope! in the comics? If so, is there an image that would be iconic for the markers?

C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM

NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Axe Cop

Army Test
Map: The Swamps of Oighir Scath (no glyphs)
Units: Axe Cop (280), Zatanna, Katana, Catwoman, Plastic Man vs. Hand Ninja x2, Foot Ninja, Karai, Hand Mystics, Mr. Zsasz, Shredder

Spoiler Alert!

Catwoman moves up first, then Katana. Then Axe Cop teams up with Katana and she takes out a bunch of ninja as they try to hit Axe Cop as much as possible. With "All Bad Guys Must Die!", squad figures automatically will die when Axe Cops attacks (like Grimnak's Chomp). Then Shredder takes on Axe Cop and Axe Cop is scared of Ruthless Counterstrike. Karai helps ot from range and Shredder finally gets Axe Cop at the end.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): 3 squad figures and 2W on Kariai
• Team Up used most of the game - nobody got a NOPE
• never got surprised

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Karai with 2W/4L, Shredder with 2W/5L, and Mr. Zsasz was never used. Lowering Axe Cop to 180.

Spoiler Alert!

Gordon moves up Beat Cops & Axe Cop. Axe Cop moves between Spider-Man and Wolverine, takes a swing at Spider-Man but he swings away so he attacks Wolverine, doesn't get a W, attacks again and gets all skulls (5) vs. 1 shield and KOs Wolverine. Axe Cop then tries a team-up with Robin but Robin gets a NOPE. Axe Cop then gets surprised by Firestar and takes 2W. Since Robin got a NOPE, Axe Cop takes Robin's sidekick turn with Batman and hits Luke Cage for 1W but Luke hits back with 4 skulls and Axe Cop rolls 0 shields and gets KOed.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): KOed Wolverine, 1W on Firestar, 1W on Luke Cage
• Team used most of the game, 1 NOPE on Robin and Axe Cop usurped Robin's turn once.
• was surprised once for 2W

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Luke Cage with 3W/5L, Spider-Man with 2W/5L, Squirrel Girl unwounded

Units: same teams as last game, just a different map

Axe Cop teams up with Whirlwind and they start hitting Wolverine but don't get very far until Axe Cop gets surprised and Wolverine KOs Axe Cop. Axe Cop's team rolled horribly this game.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): Axe Cop did get to swing at Luke Cage a bunch of times before he rolled 8 attack dice against Luke Cage but still only got 1W. He also put 1W on Wolverine.
• Team Up with used as much as could - no NOPEs
• was surprised once and got KOed

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Luke Cage had 2W/5L, Squirrel Girl was never used, Spider-Man and Wolverine were unwounded.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I think he plays very much like how he acts in the comics. Very swingy but also a reliable wounder. I think somewhere around 180 is good.
