Idea; what if his normal attack was range 2? That would make it more of a choice between his normal and special.

I agree that Venomous Fangs has potential but might be too strong right now. Maybe only 9 dice?

Just checking if, since you posted a new unit, you are considering the hydra finished or are still looking feedback on it?

EDIT: In case you are still taking feedback on it... Take just a moment to consider the power of Venomous Fangs and ask yourself some questions about it...

What is the maximum number of attacks per turn I can get as written?
With that maximum number of attacks, what is the chance I will roll all skulls on each attack?
How many unblockable wounds does each turn with this unit have the potential to inflict?

I really encourage you to think that through and see what you come up with. That is part of theoryscaping, which is a very important step in the process of designing a unit.

BTW, the power is written with a 12 and a 9 as the number of dice. I am thinking you are going with 9 based on feedback you received before

  • - TOXIC SPINES : Clarification on “After Attacking”
    Drekmar’s Toxic Skin states “After Attacking” does that mean that he can choose to not attack and he
    won’t have to roll for Toxic Spines?

    Nice try! No, Drekmar will still have to roll for Toxic Spines even if he chooses not to attack. The note of “after attacking”
    is just to tell you where during your turn you “must” roll for it. Just like previous powers that state “before moving” or
    “after moving and before attacking” it isn’t contingent on actually doing those functions (you can choose not to move,
    just like you can choose not to attack), it is only a note of when that special power would take effect during that figures
    turn. Drekmar always rolls for Toxic Spines.
