So the stat reduction would only work if it was equipped? I’m OK with that, just want to make sure we are on the same page
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Hmm, that is a little odd, but I'm okay with it. Kryptonite does sometimes have the weird property of not doing anything until the villain pulls it out of their pocket and Superman sees it.

I think I'd probably word the ability like so, though:

This figure and any other figure within 3 spaces has -1 Attack and Defense if it is a Kryptonian.

I feel like the question changed since I was pinged. What's the question? If it is whether or not it should be "Toxic" damage, if toxic is in the poison sense of things then no. Its a radiation thing that is basically affecting how their cells have absorbed solar radiation. Switching it to debuffs and wounds on contact is a better representation for sure than we originally had.

Toxic damage is technically both types. I do think it might be better to just leave it off in this case though.
