I had some vague ideas about stacking disruptive effects with folks like Diablo, Spider-Girl, Meteorite, since Starfox can work as an OM rescue for the squishier disruptors, and that approach is compatible with building around Star-Lord and/or a carrier like John Stewart or Kang II. I think Kang2/John Stewart/Martian Manhunter makes more sense for that sort of thing than Star-Lord. That said, this guy is a bit pricey for that role as compared to Diablo/Spider-Girl, so I'm not super-concerned. (I'm assuming he'll be over 200 points just based on stats/toughness).

J-Stew, Spider-Girl and Diablo take the fight to the FF while Eros hangs back to try and rescue OMs. The disruptors' strategy seems to be working out at first, but the FF eventually manage to get some turns in and take the momentum. Not a great showing for Starfox here.

Using Starfox as a back-up for the somewhat-fragile Sidekicks proves somewhat successful, but not enough so to take out the New Avengers. Starfox manages to shut down Iron Fist once and then destroy him on a rescued OM, which is pretty much his star moment. Iron Man manages to repulsor him away from Luke eventually, though, which helps Tony and Luke get the eventual victory.

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): 3 wounds to Iron Fist in 1 attack (destroyed), 0 wounds to Iron Man in 2 attacks
• Reluctant Hero: rescued 1 OM from Terry, 1 OM from Cass

This one looked like it might be a rout for the Avengers early on, as Black Bat steamrolled Red Skull before too long, but Starfox came through with some key Euphoria Distraction rolls, and Star-Lord's team was generally really hot on the dice, which helped even the odds.

(The game stats show Starfox's team rolling 59% skulls on attack and 44% shields on defense, compared to average stats for the enemy team)

Starfox was also fortunate in that Robin went down without absorbing too many attacks. If he had stuck around just a little longer, Black Bat may have had time to do more damage.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): 3 wounds to Captain America in 4 attacks (would have destroyed him once, but he was saved by Valkyrie. Eventually redestroyed him), 3 wounds to Valkyrie in 2 attacks, 3 wounds to Robin in 3 attacks (destroyed), 1 wound to Black Bat in 1 attack (destroyed), 4 wounds to Bucky in 2 attacks (destroyed)
• Reluctant Hero: rescued 1 OM from Robot
• Euphoria Distraction: 17 rolls, 6 successes. Prevented Black Bat from attacking, prevented Bucky from attacking three times, prevented Robin from attacking, prevented Cap from attacking
• Damage Taken: 0 wounds from Robin in 2 attacks, 4 wounds from Cap in 3 attacks, 1 wound from Black Bat in 3 attacks

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Starfox feels okay at 270. His only victory came with some pretty good luck, so I could eventually see him getting a slight point drop or maybe having the roll for Euphoria Distraction dropped by 1. I'm comfortable sending him to public testing at 270, though, to see how he does.
