Who's You'r Favorite Ranged Character?

Hey there friends! I'm very curious to see who your favorite Ranged figures are?

I consider a good range of 7+ & I'd like for you guys to share you'r favorites & why there your favorite! I personally favor the ranged characters & I'd like to try out some new ones & see how they work for me!

Feel free to offer you'r suggested teams with them as well! I'd like to know all there stats and synergies they offer

Please no custom figures (unless you'll send me them for free )

When I think of Ranged figures, the first two that pop into my head are Archers:

Syvarris
The Elf Archer can be an amazing slayer with his 9-range, double-attack. Get him on height and start raining down arrows. He's fragile of course but you have to get through is threat range first.

Kaemon Awa
Quick Release for a solid double special attack is awesome and as special attacks can get around some defensive powers. And the counter strike is great for when the bad guys close in on you.


And I wouldn't underestimate Mimring. Range 8 fire-line! It can be played as a long range sniper or with a well-timed lunge it can wipe out multiple targets.

These are basically the first three I think of as well, in about the same order.

The first response is pretty spot on. The two archers are top notch, followed up by some dragons. Nilf is top notch with 3 attacks at range. Kind of surprised at the DED love, I have used him many times and never had much success. He pretty consistently misses for me and I end up feeling like I wasted an OM. For that same 60 points, I'd much rather draft Zetacron. 1 unblockable wound sounds sexy but double skulls often nets you multiple wounds for the same OM investment.

Kaemon and Q9 are pretty good if you want powerful figures, but DW9K is probably one of my personal favorites. 9 defense and ranged explosion AoE make him fun in my eyes.

Deathwalker 8000: Rapid-Fire Special Attack just cuts through ranks of squads easily. Really swingy, but a blast to play.

I know the following are super competitive, but I love power!

Krav Maga Agents: My favorite anti-ranged unit. Goes with Laglor or anything, really.

These two don't have a range of 7+, but they're my two favorite ranged squads.

4th Massachusetts Line: The minutemen come in large numbers and carry a big attack and defense. They're great in multiples or with the Knights of Weston.

Marro Stingers: While their range is small, Stinger Drain can power out some large attacks. They go well with everything.

Deadeye Dan.

We never play classic 'scape anymore so I envision him relaxing in an old wooden cabin, enjoying a pipe and an occasional whiskey while admiring his multicolored mounts of the heads of the Dragons of Valhalla.

He was the only figure to gain legendary status in our group.

Whiskey and a pipe, I can seen him spittin some chew in a bucket on his porch. Good call on the whiskey though. I always think of Kaemon Awa first.

You know, I honestly can say I haven't used Deadeye Dan personally. Have him but, never even thought to put him in my army. ;P
Looks like I'm going to need to do that soon!

Ashigaru Harquebus. 4th/10th that I don't feel cheap for playing. Cheapest common 4 man ranged squad in the squad.

Deadeye Dan is very cool but I like to play factions and Deadeye just never seemed to fit...kinda like the other cowpokes.
