Yeah, that is is just my opinion. I have never watched the GF trilogy so I cannot comment on them.

Terminator II was a great sequel, as was Aliens. I must say, though, I'm surprised to see a discussion of best sequels without The Dark Knight showing up, especially round here - that'd be my pick. (Of what I've seen anyway.)

How did I forget Winter Soldier? Another great one.

Edit: So was Silence of the Lambs - but I thought Red Dragon was a prequel to that rather than Silence being a sequel? Oh, and btw, .

Silence of the Lambs (the book) is a sequel to Red Dragon (the book).

Silence of the Lambs (the movie) isn't really a sequel to anything. Red Dragon (the movie) is a prequel, and the earlier movie Manhunter (an adaptation of Red Dragon) isn't really the same continuity (totally different actors and visual style).

Oh, I was just providing some background info, wasn't really directed at you. Point was, Silence of the Lambs (the movie) absolutely doesn't belong on a 'best sequel' list.
