Power Explanation
I know turkeys can't fly but they can hang in the air for several seconds which is what I was going for in Frantic Flight.

For startle I figured that turkeys aren't the bravest of creatures and can easily be worked into a panic when a predator approaches and would try their best to escape.

Bountiful feast is pretty self-explanitory. After the heroes eat the turkey they gain a little bit of health. Video game logic I guess.

Reasoning on powers

Lion & Cowboy Bonding: The Detroit Lions & Dallas Cowboys are the two teams that traditionally play on Thanksgiving Day. As a football fan I had to do something football.

Stuffing Boost: Hey whats turkey without stuffing. Just a simple boosting power.

After Feast Nap: Hey it happens to me every thanksgiving, I eat and the fall asleep.

Sgt. Drake Alexander gazes over the battlefield, content with the day's fight. Utgar's forces were demolished by the arrival of Drake's Airborne troops. Suddenly, a soldier rushes up to him.

"Sarge, one of Utgar's troops wishes to retreat. Says he has had enough. What should we do?"

Drake frowned. None of Utgar's warriors had ever surrendered before. It could be a trap. However, a turncoat could be just what Jandar needs to turn this war around.

"Let's take him to camp and see what Jandar wishes to do with him."

Jandar removed the curse on Marcu Esenwein by turning him into a giant turkey. Marcu cannot be happier, as now everyone loves him. Marcu never really enjoyed flying anyway, and now he will gladly let any of Jandar's forces take a bite of him to heal themselves. Marcu is taking sign language lessons from Kumiko and things just couldn't be better.

I didn't think this set is quite up to the caliber of the other polls. All are interesting, but none really scream "THEME!" like others have. 3 had the coolest dinner mechanic, so I voted for it.

I would like to point out to Entry 3 and all other misinformed Heroscapers that TURKEYS CAN FLY! And it sounds like a rocket launching off when a flock of 'em bursts out of the trees.

Or long, or fast, or high... so they really can't fly, at least not in the sense that other birds (or some Heroscape figures) can fly.

I'm not sure who I'm voting for on this poll... 6 is not thematic or fit very well into the HS universe, but it is pretty funny.

Okay, turkeys definitely can not fly as well as a dragon or kyrie, but wikipedia (the most reliable source in the world ) says "Despite their weight, wild turkeys are surprisingly agile fliers...They usually fly close to the ground for no more than a quarter mile (400 m)." It does say low to the ground, but I believe that means tree height, and 400 meters is far enough to move normally in heroscape. I suppose if Flying isn't used, some sort of lesser Flying can be justified. I was just surprised that many people didn't know that turkeys can fly (to a certain degree).
