Hot wheels are ~1:64 scale, but are rather variable. The clix cars tend towards 1:43 scale, which I think is great for Heroscape/C3G. The Corgi Batmobiles I posted awhile back are ~1:43, and this is a fairly accessible scale in general for toy/model cars.

Kudos on the new release! I've had Trigon rebased for awhile.

It looks like the Darkholders weren't tested with more than 4 in an army. What do you guys think is the reasonable limit for this figure? I have 8 of them, which seems excessive. I gather order marker management is a limiting factor for them.

No idea where one is supposed to get Horrorclix these days. Any good proxies for N'Garai?

I like both the big demons. Interesting designs! My favorite Dormammu power is Eldritch Empowerment. I guess this affects him as well? Trigon moving demons only to sacrifice them to transfer wounds to the enemy is pretty (appropriately) evil.

I found some of the N'Garai on Ebay but they were not the cheapest figures, think I paid around $7 each for them.

Yeah, I like the 1:43 scale as well. We should definitely try to find more in that size instead of Hot Wheels.

I have yet to play Darkholders myself, but hopefully @Karat can answer.

I need to find a proxy for N'Garai too! Some repainted Morlocks might work?

Eldritch Empowerment definitely works on Dormammu. The trick with him is to make sure the figures you draft with him have enough Life to guarantee he breaks through, but also to try to turtle a bit and make as many of the wounds as possible that are used to summon him enemy figure wounds. Once he's on the battlefield, he's a nasty attacker, but not terribly dynamic unless you have spells.

Trigon's auto wounding is basically a more powerful version of Raven's Soul Self, which was an intentional echo.

Was originally gonna use the Ki Devil from Mage Knight for the N'garai so might make a decent proxy. Wings aren't ideal though.

As for the Darkholders, as of right now I'd say probably 3 or 4. They are tough to use without some kind of efficiency which I do have plans for just not quite sure when I will get around to it right now.

For a proxy, I think I'm just going to use the nagrubs. I looked through a bunch of D&D and pathfinder figures, but it's just too expensive and I've got plenty of nagrubs.

Nagrubs are a good call. Or even Marro Dividers if you have those sitting around still.

Pretty much any of the Marro would be close enough for proxies I’d think. Like the Drudge might not be ideal because of the guns, but good enough to fill in some numbers IMO

Using Marro is a good idea, I'll have to remember to pull them out from my classic figure stash and move them over to the C3G pile.
