Highlight of the Tournament was a killing blow from a Minion throwing three skulls (six hits) up hill at a Nilfheim (who had 1 wound).
Lowpoint was failing to use Johnny correctly to kill 5 vipers in one shot and thus losing to NicfromSpace in the bonus round.

Kearney Gamefest 2012

Army: Sgt. Alexander Drake (SOTM), and Phantom Knights x 4 - 450 pts.
Result 3 - 1 (Lost in the Championship round to Garanex's Fen Hydra)
Additional: played Matthias Maccabeus's Spiders and Predators. Should have lost but two final Phantom Knights decided they were Heroes and killed a Wyvern and Sujoah who had almost full health. Absolutely awesome game.

This Gamefest Tournament is my one year annverisary of joining the Heroscape Tournament scene! What fun it's been. I've met a lot of really cool friends, played Heroscape in 3 states, organized my own tournament and play two guys put their tournaments together.

Army: Minions of Utgar x3, Omnicron Snipers, Runa - 550 pts.
I added Runa instead of another squad of Minions hoping for some entertainment from Runa bombing people in the start zone, and despite the fact that I got Runa into the start zones of three of my four opponents she only Mitonsouled 3 capulan gladitors Especially sad was the game where I had Runa next to my opponent's entire army for three turns (rolling the 20-side for mitonsoul around 30 times) and failed to kill a single figure.
Result: 2-2
Tied for 12th place

Well, if Atlaga bolted your opponents full life Mogrimm by the end of round one, like you did with me, it probably would have done MUCH better. :P Other than that, I have to say this was a fun army to play against.

This was a 560 point Heroes tournament where you had to have at least 300 points in Unique and Uncommon Heroes. I beat Matthias Maccebus in the first game 560 - 0 after I slaughtered all 4 of his Werewolf Lords. That was the highlight of the tournament for me as I lost 3 out of the next 4 games.

This was a Doubles tournament and my partner was Raider30 who played the Sentinels while I handled the Minions and Isamu. This was a very fun format and we had some great games with double attack dice for the Minions and double defense dice for the Sentinels. In our 2nd game, the Minions took out Major Q9 and Laglor in back to back turns while we mopped up 3 squads of Knights of Weston.
Won 2 Lost 1 Finished in 7th out of 13 teams
