C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM

NAME OF THE TEST UNIT (Carnage)

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.
Pass. He really plays like he should, he’s murderous and an insane killing machine at times but he’s also hard to hit.

- MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game.
Pass.

- BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding.
Pass. He has Harley Quinn which gives him a nice bit of synergy while not being overpowered.

- SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit to powerful or too weak.
Pass.

- POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any.
Pass.

- FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play.
Pass.

- FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against.
Pass. He is very annoying though because of his symbiote senses.

- DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting.
Pass.

- USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable.
Pass. Since I only tested against hero armies killing frenzy didn’t come up much but it still happened once and a while.

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes.
- What should be the unit's point value? 280.
- Give a brief overview. Joker ends up dying early but the Carnage team eventually pulls off a win killing the white martians quickly and dodging Martian Manhunter’s attacks.

Units: Army 1(carnage, Joker, and Harley Quinn) 700pts
Army 2(Martian Manhunter, 2x white martian, and moleman)

Spoiler Alert!

Army 1 won with a 2 life Harley Quinn and a 2 life Carnage.

Army 1 wins initiative and messes up Army 2 order markers with reorganized chaos. Carnage kills a White Martian in one hit and is given a wound by Mole Man who then hides from harley quinn.

Army 2 wins initiative and Martian Manhunter kills the Joker in one hit. Carnage attacks a white martian for a wound. Martian Manhunter then gives carnage another wound (2). Martian Manhunter blocks some attacks then give Carnage two more wounds (4) and knocks him back two spaces. Carnage then kills the second white martian. Martian Manhunter takes two wounds from a smilex bomb as does harley quinn. Carnage and moleman start dodging each other. Harley Quinn gives Martian Manhunter a wound. Carnage keeps dodging and gives Martian Manhunter a wound (4). Carnage eventually kills Martian Manhunter and puts three wounds on Mole man who is quickly killed by Harley Quinn.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes.
- What should be the unit's point value? 280
- Give a brief overview. Army 1 revives a ton and it is a battle of attrition but eventually Army 2 wins out by killing Carnage (My god it took a long time).

Units: Army 1 (Carnage, Dooms day, Thanos, Solomon Grundy and the Flash.) 1570 pts
Army 2 (Proffesor X, Wolverine, Deadpool, Sabretooth, Punisher, Iceman and beast.

Army 2 won with a full life beast and sabretooth. 460 pts

Thanos, Doomsday, and Solomon Grundy all get killed countless times and revive at least four times eacg during the game. Thanos quickly gets 5 wounds and kills Ice man Sabretooth pounces Solomon for 3 wounds. Grundy and thanos give Deadpool and Sabretooth wounds put both Grundy and Thanos are killed in the next turn. Xavier wheelchairs to a better position on the battlefield. Deadpool kills Doomsday while Sabretooth fails to pounce Thanos. Xavier gets onto the hero bonding glyph and Grundy revives the next turn. Sabretooth kills Grundy with a pounce but can’t wound Thanos with his next attack. Deadpool gives Thanos a wound and Wolverine give Thanos 2 more (3). Deadpool kills Thanos but Carnage dodges his attacks. Wolverine put 2 wounds on Flash. Wolverine kills Flash and Deadpool puts a wound on Carnage. Carnage kills Xavier from height and then Grundy and doomsday revive. Doomsday kills Deadpool in one hit. Punisher then kills Doomsday in one turn. Sabre tooth doesn’t have luck pouncing Grundy. Punisher gives Carnage a wound while Grundy gives Sabretooth 4 wounds. Carnage kills Punisher. Doomsday and Thanos eventually revive. After getting some wounds Wolverine kills Doomsday and puts some wounds on Thanos. Wolverine kills Thanos after Grundy revives then kills Grundy. Wolverine then puts 2 wounds on Carnage. Doomsday revives. Wolverine kills Carnage. Wolverine gets 5 wounds on Doomsday and grundy revives. Doomsday kills Wolverine and Sabretooth kills both Grundy and Doomsday in one turn for the win.

Consistency check: Venom has Symbiotic-Senses 13 (with hyphen) and Carnage has Symbiote Senses 13.

There’s also a slight wording change in Tendril Swing 3
Venom: When Venom uses Tendril Swing, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks.
Carnage: When moving with Tendril Swing, Carnage will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

Once again, we have two similar designs, but each has an ability and also class/personality differences that will give each of them their own unique character. Kill Crazy is wicked!

Character Bio - Kasady is a serial killer that shared a cell with Eddie Brock in prison, who had lost the alien symbiote that transformed him into the supervillain Venom. Brock's symbiote soon returns and bonds with him again, and unwittingly leaves behind the symbiote's offspring. The symbiotes reproduce asexually and the children are then of no consequence to the parent; hence, Brock's symbiote felt no need to inform Brock of the existence of its offspring. The new symbiote entered Kasady's bloodstream through a cut and bonds with his blood, transforming him into Carnage. He escaped prison, and began a series of murders, and at the scene of each crime, wrote "Carnage" on the walls with his own blood. He was found by Spider-Man, though the hero proved to be no match for Carnage's powers. In desperation, Spider-Man made a truce with Venom to fight Carnage and Carnage was defeated with sonic weaponry, but lived on because it had merged with Kasady's bloodstream. Kasady and his symbiote hate Spider-Man, and blame him for ruining his fun in killing the people of New York.

My brother used Carnage in a 4-player 2vs2 game we did the other night. Carnage was his MVP and he went kill crazy 3 times that I can remember. Was a really fun game even though I was on the receiving end of the carnage. Professor X was obliterated, quickly followed by teammate's Two Face.

Thanks for the offer Bats. I'll keep it in mind if I ever feel like it's something I could handle in my schedule.

This is the first game of scape I've played in quite some time. Was great to give some new characters a spin. Some of them have been released for quite some time and I still haven't had the chance to try out.
