I'm not sure he's finished revising those yet as he submitted them to Auggie's bounty and it wasn't accepted. If he wants to submit them himself once they seem more balanced out to those who have given him feedback that would be best.

Actually that thread was before the revision. The reason Auggie didn't proceed is because I decided to revise the card and asked him not to go forth with it until I felt it was ready. After adjusting for feedback from several player/designers I made some adjustments to the bonding options, and Special Ability wording. Then started play testing at a recommended value and worked my way down. I'm quite happy with the way the card is now, and so are some of the people who rightfully believed the original to be unbalanced.

Spoiler Alert!

As far as I'm concerned this card is not going to change anymore.

Lowering the Range from 2 to 1 and removing Warden bonding were two wise decisions, Darkmage.

The Gatekeepers appear to be somewhere between the Warforged and the Drow and I'll give them a shot.

Notably their availability is not what I would like to see for a common squad at T&T or CSI, but apparently Auggie singlehandedly bridges the gap.

Yes to reviewing Darkmage's Gatekeepers.

This is what I was expecting when Auggie made his announcements, boys, it's time for us to work on our backlog...

I like that they are 75 points. With Dumutef Guard and the Drow Chainfighters 25 point cost it will be really easy to round out even point values. I am trying to figure out if I would run two or three squads of them.

Anyone else have any ideas on how many squads would be optimal?

The Gatekeepers look pretty cool.
I want to check on one thing which may lead to one question for the designer before I cast my vote to review or not (how is that for being all cryptic and mysterious
