Whitefishes FIRST Custom Tutorial - Archer Tower

Took about an hour to do TOTAL COST= <$10 (Assuming you have tools needed... Gluegun, exacto knife, ruler)

Step 1: Add "lips" to 3 sides of your base

Step 2: Add 2 leg supports to the bottom

Step 3: Add 4 long legs to supports and base

Step 4: Add 3 walls and 2 Skirts to base

Step 5: Add Roof supports

Step 6: Add roof

Step 7: Build Ladder frame

Step 8: Add steps to ladder

Step 9: Attach ladder

FINAL Product! I'm very proud of this project...

Please give some critisism... constructive or not

I like the Packers too... When the Giants beat 'em I said "Now you had better beat the Pats"

Here are some pics for scale... It barely fits on a 7 hex piece, a little tall too, I may trim the legs down.

It looks pretty good, but you should probably paint it.

Akima: You can't call a planet "Bob."
Cale: So now you're the boss. You're the King of Bob.
Akima: Can't we just call it "Earth"?
Cale: No one said you have to live on Bob.
Akima: I'm never calling it Bob.

Erasmas Woo who?
If you don't trust your hand at painting it, then I think you should just stain it a nice color. Something like that would be made of wood anyways, just on a larger scale.

Maybe you could practice painting on scrap wood to find a color you like. Then you'll be more confident when painting the actual tower. I think you it's a great tower, though. The only thing I would try to change (besides the color), is trying to make it snap onto the official HS pieces.
Very nice work.

I might glue it onto a 7 hex piece... then add some shrubs and rocks

I like your custom a lot. What a great addition to a heroscape board.
Thanks for sharing. Are you going to paint it and put some hexes on it? Or are you just leaving it wood like that?

If you don't have to mount it, don't. Personally I think it is better to just let these types of things set on top of the board. There is no reason to waste a tile that you may need later down the road. If you have to mount it, just put it on some hex shaped cardboard or something.

I like bad calvin's idea for mounting it on cardboard, or maybe you could cut some wood in a hex shape to mount it. I look forward to seeing your finished product, perhaps with rocks and shrubs.
