Lions vs. Vikings baby. Should be a good one. Ponders is tearing it up for the Viks. Everyone thought they were bottom dwellers but after beating San Fran it is anyone's division. This is going to get interesting.
Thankfully we got the real refs back. Go Lions.

While I hated to have to stay up late on Thursday, I'm kind of glad my team has already played (and won) this week. So it will be a baseball day today for me.




That sounds so weird during football season. Finally, so glad to have a baseball team thats relavant down the stretch.

Great game between the Falcons and the Panthers! Panthers really should have won, just a couple of stupid mistakes really screwed us over. It was still a fun game to watch!

Offense looked better for the Packers, even if it was against the Saints. Still, Cedric was a beast and our receivers weren't dropping many balls. Defense did take a step back; hopefully they can correct some errors. Just glad to get a victory before going on the road.

Very strange to see the lackluster first quarter by the Lions, Saints, and Packers.

Lions had their secondary exposed last year and they did nothing to fix it. Their only decent safety has been out to injury all year. Teams have been shutting down Calvin and daring the Lions to beat them with something else and they just haven't.

Of course the back-to-back games letting up a KR TD and PR TD each (4 return TDs all together) is shockingly bad!

I thought the Lions would have fewer wins than last year, but I figured with the Rams, Niners, Titans, and Vikings (at home, no less) to open the year, we could start out 3-1 or something like that. 1-3 with that as our schedule so far and with what's left on our schedule is a certified disaster.

This issue Detroit is having with Megatron isn't that he's being shut down, but the line has been a human turnstile and hasn't let Matt look down the field for the Calvin-can-catch-anything balls. So without him being a deep threat, he won't be nearly as effective, still good but underneath passes don't help out a vertical offence.
