It's in jpeg, so you should be able to see it. And once the dl is approved, it's a pdf, so you should be able to download it.

It stinks, I agree. Though worse is not being able to use MSE

That's a nice looking map, XDV. I like the look of the center being filled with ice and glaciers. Plenty of cover for melee too. Is that just 1 TT and 1 Dungeon set? Also normal ice/snow or heavy and slippery?

My only issue is that it wont look as good.

Also, I added another couple maps. Check the first post for the link.

Re: XDVincent's Map Thread

I really, really like Yellowbrick road. The other two seem just a bit big for my preference, but all look good for a first set of maps

Edit: It will not allow me to download this file. It's likely because you're not a site supporter. Try Mediafire

Thanks!, I wish I could beuild it though, I gotta wait till I get together with my group, since I have no RttFF.

And I have also updated the links to MediaFire, so hopefully that fixes the issues.

Re: XDVincent's Map Thread

Alright. I built and played a game on Yellow Brick Road earlier. My opinions:

1. I love the footprint of the map. It's not too big or small.

2. The road is all on height, which causes the average map-maker to cringe.

3. It seems a bit too easy to access the higher areas on the map (Road, bridges)

4. This is an incredibly good asymmetric map for a first attempt.

So I messed around with the map and came up with this:

Download

Anyway I basically just lowered the majority of the road to lv. 2. I didn't like the large pool of water in the center, so I shrunk it and allowed the bridges to connect near the center of the map. I added tiles above the bridges, and I moved the bridges more towards the center. IMO your version is more aesthetic, but I prefer mine
