Hi guys! I'm working on my own Infinity Gauntlet scenario for a game to be played on April 9, 2014 (as listed in Marvelscape/Maps and Scenarios/Infinity Gauntlet (thread by Chas).

One of my players is asking:

"Does Thanos need clear sight for Permanent Death?"

I'd guess no, since its not there, but thought I'd ask, since I've just skimmed all 20 pages of this thread without noticing an answer. Thanks...

The basic rules require LOS on a portion of the figure's targeting silhouette, unless otherwise specified. It doesn't need to be specified.
I know that I do not know.

I have a question regarding spurned by death and the walking deads viral infection. If a zombie replaces thanos, does he still get to be spurned by death? Thematically no but otherwise I'm not sure. Thoughts?

Technically yes, because you haven't removed Thanos from the game.

Thematically, Thanos is the Avatar (representation) of Death, so even if his body is destroyed (or zombified), Death could still reconstruct him.

Just out of curiosity, Has anyone ever done a costing exercise with Thanos starting off with the gauntlet and gems.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Nope, but I think it'd make an excellent scenario in and of itself.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Yeah that is the idea I had. But one thing I thought about was that if thanos and the gauntlet was one players entire army he wouldn't get the chance to come back from death and I was wondering how that would effect his cost as well.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

You could throw some low-level henchmen in with him to help with that. Who would be thematic henchmen for him?
