Unit Debate #1-- Capuan Gladiators Vs. Knights of Weston

After hearing all of the arguments between the Capuan Gladiators and Knights of Weston, I thought it would be a good idea to have a weekly debate between two units, to see what people think are the best units when versed against one another. I would like the Heroscapers' honest opinions on whom is the best in each. I would like to see proof for each opinion, not just simple guessing.
Since these two units inspired this thread, my first Unit Debate is between the Capuan Gladiators and the Knights of Weston.
Compare to units by looking at thier:
1. Stats/Special Powers
2. Playability
3. Overall Usefullness
4. Who Would Win Head-To-Head
5. Army Builds
Here is an example of how to answer:
