Congrats to the Judge. Someday maybe someone can explain the Dredd-verse to me, outside of a couple of bad movies(my opinion anyways) my knowledge is zero. Of course I could just google it. But what’s the fun in that!

I liked the more recent one with Karl Urban, but yeah that old one with Stallone was pretty awful. T is your guy to break it down for you around here. The one little fact that I know and think is pretty neat is that it is the longest continuous running comic story line since they have never rebooted it. So Dredd is legit an old man by now.

I am willing to answer your questions. Dredd's history is long and continuous. For every year in real life that passes, a year passes in Dredd'verse which started in 1978 I believe, so forty years of continual story lines. Dredd is in his late 50's now (he is a clone of the first Judge(Fargo), they are rapidly grown in tubes and are essentially five years old when 'born', they then go through fifteen years in the Judge Academy, though Dredd was promoted after thirteen years, so he was about 18 when he started, which makes him around 58. The Judge do have anti-aging machines (as well as hypersleep, Dredd often works 20+ hour shifts) which helps to fend off the effects of aging. As a Psi, Anderson cannot use the anti-aging as it would destroy her powers, so even though she is younger than Dredd, she is aging faster.
