eMCee Tournament Armies Played
Okay, I'll play along ... I took my 12yr old son to his first tournament and, due to an odd number of players, stepped in to play so there wouldn't be any BYEs. I came unprepared, so, I threw together a gimic army of "anything-I-could-find-with-wings-in-my-sons-bucket-plus-Archers"
Once I started playing I got hooked, and hope to compete again soon. So ... Dallas National Heroscape Day 2009: Army = Minions, Protectors, Cyprien, Sonya, AubrienArchers, Isamu Losses to Rodriquez, Fencerjared, Tmac2200; Wins against Sweetcurse, ?Ryan? Results 2-3 I am 2-3 overall for 40% win rate. |

Re: Tournament Armies Played
I updated my post, with my win in the Skirmish. The main special rule is that you got 475 if you had no ranged units, but 405 if you had any range at all.
Played Grimnak, Nerak, Raelin, 3x Heavy Gruts, and Isamu, going 5-0. I never once activated Isamu, or even had him get attacked all day. Battle Report Now, I've also updated my playing style blog entry, which shows how I do with and against different units. Last edited by Jexik; November 17th, 2009 at 10:08 PM. Reason: blog entry |

Re: Tournament Armies Played
I can tell you that Superesenwein won the Pestered in Westford tourney, 5-0.
I lost to him in game 4 by 15 points! With partial card scoring in play, a wound on Taelord would have been another 36 points in my favor, while if I lost one less Knight I would have gained 17.5 and still won. Darn those Marro and their Knight-killing ways! |
