I kind of like that SA direction Quazil. Gives it a little more flexibility while not being a tedious as rolling 6 attacks of 1 and hoping for a whiff on defense.

Putting it all together, this is what looks good to me:

POINTS = 160

NOT YOUR TYPICAL SUPERHERO
If Squirrel Girl is within clear sight of an Agent, Crime Fighter, Reject, or Soldier you control, she is considered to have the same class as that figure. Instead of moving with Squirrel Girl, you may place a brown Squirrel Marker on this card. A maximum of 999 Squirrel Markers can be placed on this card.

SQUIRREL SWARM SPECIAL ATTACK

Range 6. Attack: Special
Before attacking with this special attack, remove 1 or more Squirrel Markers from this card. Start the attack with X dice, where X is equal to the number of Squirrel Markers removed. You may attack with any number of dice, until all X attack dice have been rolled.

SQUIRREL LEAP
After attacking or defending, you may move Squirrel Girl up to 3 spaces. When counting spaces with Squirrel Leap, ignore elevations. Squirrel Girl may leap over water without stopping, leap over figures without becoming engaged, and leap over obstacles such as ruins. Squirrel Girl may not leap more than 12 levels up or down in a single leap. Squirrel Girl never takes falling damage and is never attacked when leaving an engagement.

Oh, is that how the original power was supposed to work? I had understood it as being able to boost the power on the additional attacks (at the cost of more markers, of course) as well, but reading it again, I'm not actually completely sure.

I brought up the Fist-Fusilade-style wording because I thought it felt like a more intuitive way of doing things - you have a pool of dice, split them up any way you like.

I'm not sure what the intent was, which is why I asked this question yesterday but Johnny39 hasn't been on yet to respond.

How about if Squirrel Leap activates after moving, attacking or defending?
Then maybe drop Move to 5 since she would essentially be an 8.
I could see an increase in the Leap height if it fits theme-wise. Would love for her to Leap on tall buildings.

My intent on Squirrel Swarm was that you could make multiple attacks of varying die numbers. So, Qualizium, what you suggested was pretty much my intent only worded in a clearer way! Definitely happy to go with that one.

Tornado's suggestion there actually works for me and really resolves my concerns. I think in that case I'd want to drop it to 2 move on the leap, and maybe even down to 4 move base move... a bit concerned she'll be unthematically bouncy, and you'd be getting way too many markers, but that'll be testing.

I'll put together a more formal final suggestion when I'm not on my phone.

SQUIRREL SWARM

Of course you can throw her into melee before you start gathering markers, but I'm not sure she has the survivability for that to be a very attractive option.
I like that you're considering the logistics of all the markers. I on the other hand delighted inthe thought of the card being buried with squirrels.
I also don't like turtle strategy. Perhaps simply after moving or after a turn.

Hard to say right now. I reckon if I start to see a pile of squirrels on her card I may try to get over there and assassinate her which could happen with her 4L, 4D which could add to the fun.

Going to be one where larger tests will probably show the truest results.
How does she defend herself in the comics?
Is she agile (defense)? Does she just tank the hit (Life)? Do the squirrels sacrifice themselves? Do they form up like in Batman Ninja?
