CLINGY
After a figure ends their movement, if that figure was adjacent to Ragdoll at any point during their movement, you may immediately place Ragdoll adjacent to that figure.

C3G INITIAL PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM

NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Ragdoll

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.
Pass.

- MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game.

Pass. Interestingly, he can really get a boon out of bonding with Harley, as he can move first, then hitch a ride with her.

Pass. He can be very annoying, but no more so than Harley (although the two of them together can be frustrating). Ultimately, while he's always tagging along, you can usually find a better target to attack and save him for clean-up. However, high attack ground pounders or snipers can really be stymied by him.

- DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting.
Pass. I rarely if ever would put an OM on him, but his design is largely autonomous anyway. He's not really an attacker so much as a clinger... which the insane army really benefits from since they need time to position (being somewhat weaker). He also looks like he'll play well with the Outlaws.

- USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable.

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.

- Give a brief overview. .X Marks the Spot is a pretty flat map, which means a smart player can usually deny Ragdoll the height he needs to inflict wounds; however, his defense is still good for his price range and he's Clingy to the point of being stifling. I lost all of my data the first time around, so much of this is from memory.

Units: Ragdoll v. Toad (95)
Toad prefers to repeatedly Stealth Leap away and hope for a Tongue Lash for height advantage. Clingy puts an end to this strategy, so Toad was forced to rely on his SA and a double skull roll to put the hurt on Rags. It didn't really come together this time.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Ragdoll wins with 2 wounds in the 3rd round.

TEST 2

Units:Ragdoll v. Toad (95)
This time, while he never rolled double skulls, Toad rolled a single skull twice against a whiff. Rags nearly had him though.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Toad wins with 3 wounds in the 2nd round.

TEST 3

Units: Ragdoll v. Dum Dum Dugan
Dum Dum scopes out Rags from afar and lands a lucky 2-wound shot at the start; despite Ragdoll closing the distance in the next turn, he whiffed his roll and Dum Dum rolled a solid melee attack.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Dum Dum wins with 0 wounds in the first round.

TEST 4

Units: Ragdoll v. Dum Dum Dugan
Dum Dum misses his opening shot, then rolls poorly in melee. Rags just waits him out with his much superior defense.

TEST 5

Units: Ragdoll v. Weather Wizard
WW is pretty much tailor made to take on Ragdoll. Despite what should have been an easily breakable defense, Weather Wizard held off at least 2 attacks and his SA was too much for the Clown to Contort out of.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Weather Wizard wins with 0 wounds in Round 2.

Units: Ragdoll v. Weather Wizzard
More of the same, although Rags did manage a few wounds here.

TEST 7

Units:Ragdoll v. Captain Boomerang
"Digger" is a bloke who has some tricks up his sleeve to mess with Rags, and has a decent attack to break Ragdoll's defense... although he took a beating.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Captain Boomerang wins with 3 wounds in R3.

TEST 8

Units: Ragdoll v. Captain Boomerang
Tricks are only good if they work. Rags' defense held out this time, although it was a squeaker.

TEST 9

Units: Ragdoll v. Commissioner Gordon (90)
Commish got lucky here with 2 extremely lucky shots that broke Ragdoll down very quickly. Meanwhile, Rags' attack dice sucked.

TEST 10

Units: Ragdoll v. Commissioner Gordon (90)
No lucky shots for Gordy here. Ragdoll's defense easily handled Gordon's pea-shooter, and he snuck in wounds when he could.

Squad Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 100+
- Give a brief overview. Once you bring more than one opponent into play, Ragdoll gets more interesting... the cool thing about Clingy is that against melee squads, he can maneuver out of a 'gang bang' situation when the last squaddie moves up.... Something that took the Amazon Warriors (and really, me, as I didn't realize it at first) by surprise.

Spoiler Alert!

Rags sacrifices some movement to retain height. 2 Amazons are able to engage him from height disadvantage... and amazingly each manages a wound on him. He kills an Amazon right before the initiative switch.
Both Amazons move onto equal footing with Rags, but are surprised to find he has clung to the last moving Amazon and ends up only engaged to one, whose attack he easily blocks. He kills that Amazon, defends successfully against another attack, and after a couple turns, kills the last Amazon.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Ragdoll wins with 2 wounds on R2T6

- What should be the unit's point value? 90
- Give a brief overview. This time, Rags got a bit cocky. Agents waited on height, and when Rags engaged from height disadvantage (figuring he'd just Clingy to height at the next turn), the Agents stymied him by dictating the order of each Agents (0) move... leaving him on lower ground by moving the Agent he was engaged to last.

Ragdoll gets caught on low ground for a 3 wound killbox. He makes it to equal footing the next turn but whiffs his attack, and the 3 attacks of 3 dice get a final wound past his defense.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? 3 Shield Agents remain at the end of round 2.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 90?
- Give a brief overview. I wanted to see how the Outlaws were shaping up, and in theory they pair up well... but they're not complete enough yet to be a serious contender against the oppressive 1-2 double punch that is Luke Cage and Iron Fist. His team was absolutely dominated... but Ragdoll actually played his part well enough and held on longer than some of his compatriots.

Units: Ragdoll (100), Bane, Deadshot, Merlyn (600) vs. Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Moon Knight (600)

Spoiler Alert!

Deadshot moves up with Ragdoll clinging to him. Luke and Danny move forward. Deadshot snipes a wound into Luke. Danny charges forward and slams 3 wounds into Deadshot. Bane moves up (passing by and bringing up Ragdoll) and slams Danny for 3 wounds. Danny leaps over Bane's head (taking Rags with him) and punches Bane for a wound before healing one of his own; Luke misses a swing at Deadshot.

Danny puts 2 more wounds on Luke, heals a wound; Luke finishes Bane. Merlyn moves up and misses a shot on Luke. Danny hits Ragdoll for a wound; Luke finishes Deadshot. Merlyn misses Luke again. Danny hits Ragdoll for another wound; Luke disengages from Ragdoll (wound-free, though Rags clings to him) to hit Merlyn, but misses. Merlyn misses again.

Merlyn gets a wound on Luke; but the combined might of Luke and Danny takes him down in the next turn, taking OM 2 with him. Danny kills Ragdoll in the next attack.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Game ends on R3T4 with Luke with 2 wounds, Danny with 1 (on not having yet used Chi Heal) and an unwounded Moon Knight

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 100
- Give a brief overview. I LOVE the way the insane army is shaping up, but they can be a little weak and tend to have low defense. Ragdoll + Harley is a great first line defense to run out and bog down heavy hitters while the rest of their group gets its stuff together, especially since they play themselves without OMs once they're in position.

Units: Ragdoll (100), Creeper, Harley Quinn, Hugo Strange, Arkham Inmates x3 (700) vs. Kingpin, Azrael, Hand Ninja x2, Man-Bat Assassins (710)

Spoiler Alert!

Man-Bats and Hand move out. Creeper moves out, followed by Harley (Ragdoll clings to her). Hand engages Creeper from height disadvantage, fail to inflict any wounds. Creeper kills a Hand; Haley tosses her Smilex bomb, killing 2 Hand and 1 Man bat assassin and removing OMs from the Hand and Creeper, ending the round.

More Hand move up; a Man-Bat grabs Creeper, then punches him for a wound; his fellow Man-Bat attacks Harley who dodges and clingies Ragdoll next to him. Creeper misses a Man-Bat but heals; Harley misses the same Man-Bat. Hand advance; Man-Bats claw two Inmates to death. Creeper and Harley kill a Man-Bat. The last Man-Bat kills 2 Inmates; Hand fail to do any damage. Harley and Creeper both whiff their attacks.

The last Man-Bat fails his tricks and is killed by an Aggravated Assault wound; Hand manage a wound on Creeper. Inmates and Harley kill 2 Hand. Kingpin and Azrael advance. Inmates kill the last Hand. Ragdoll moves out with Harley to engage Azrael, but neither does any damage.

Inmates turn nasty courtesy of Hugo. Azrael looses his cool and attacks Harley and Rags, but both avoid his attack and maneuver so as to lock down Kingpin as well; Kingpin misses Rags. Azrael is cut down by a horde of freaks. Kingpin takes the highground (taking Rags with him) to better fend off the freaks and kills one. Freaks rake 2 wounds into Kingpin. Pin kills another freak, but they tear 2 more wounds into him before the round ends.

Inmates surround Kingpin and attack, but can't manage the killing blow; Harley, however, gets a 3 skull attack and even from low ground gets just past Kingpin's defense, ending him.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Game ends R5T1; Creeper with 1 wound, full health Harley, Ragdoll and Hugo and 3 Inmates remain.
