Yep, there it is. Don't see a need to spell it out myself. Pretty clear if you don't have enough dice, you can't roll it.
Yeah, you may attack until all 12 dice are rolled, and you may roll 2, 3, or 4 attack dice. Nothing mandatory, so if you end up with an extra die, you're fine.
Army Test
Map: Rocket Launching Platform
Units: Doppelganger, Rhino, Bullseye (620) VS Spider-Man(Peter Parker), Daredevil(II), Elektra (620)

Round 1:No Action, all movement. Round 2: Doppelganger wins initiative. Turn 1 Bullseye's attack on Daredevil is blocked. Elektra attacks Bullseye and deals 2 damage. Turn 3 Rhino charges Elektra and deals 2 damage pushing her back as well. Round 3: Doppelganger wins initiative again. Turn 1 Rhino charges Elektra again and deals 1 damage. Doppelganger is attacked by Daredevil and takes 3 damage. Turn 2 Doppelganger moves in and attacks Daredevil with his Six-Armed Assault. He deals 2 damage with the first attack, 2 damage with the second attack. Daredevil Goes The Distance, but Doppelganger deals an additional 2 damage on the third attack killing Daredevil. Turn 2 Elektra deals 1 damage to Rhino. Turn 3 Bullseye hits Elektra for 3 damage killing her. Round 4: Doppelganger wins initiative again. Turn 1 Doppelganger's attack on Spider-Man is blocked, but Spider-Man is knocked off the platform taking 0 damage. Spider-Man deals 2 damage to Bullseye. Turn 2 Bullseye attacks Spider-Man, Spidey gets away using his Spidey-Sense. Spider-Man attacks Bullseye for 1 damage killing him. Round 5: Spider-Man wins initiative. Turn 1 Spider-Man deals 1 damage to Doppelganger. Spidey gets away from Doppelganger with his Spidey-Sense. Turn 2 Spider-Man swings back in and attacks Doppelganger dealing 2 damage killing him. Round 6: Spider-Man wins initiative. Turn 1 Spider-Man misses Rhino. Rhino charges Spidey dealing 2 damage and pushing him back 3 spaces. Turn 2 Spider-Man deals 1 damage to Rhino. Round 7: Doppelganger wins initiative. Turn 1 Rhino punches Spidey for 1 damage. Turn 2 Spider-Man hits Rhino for 2 damage. Turn 3 no damage dealt. Round 8: Doppelganger wins initiative. Turn 1 Rhino Punches Spidey for 2 damage ending the game.

Round 1: Spiders win initiative. No action all movement. Round 2: Spiders win initiative. Turn 1 Scarlet Spider swings in and attacks Hobgoblin for 1 damage. Doppelganger swings in behind Scarlet and uses his Six-Arm Assault only dealing 1 damage. Turn 2 Spider-Woman misses her attack on Hobgoblin. Hobgoblin moves over Spider-Woman reducing her defense. Hobgoblin then attacks her with his Pestering Pursuit dealing 3 damage. Turn 3 Miles Morales attacks Doppelganger for 1 damage. Boomerang flies in and hits Spider-Woman for 2 damage killing her. Round 3: Spiders win initiative. Turn 1 Scarlet Spider moves to Hobgoblin and hits him hard for 3 damage. Doppelganger turns his attention on Miles and hits him with his Six-Arm Assault. Doppelganger deals 4 damage taking Miles out of the game. Turn 2 Miles is skipped and Hobgoblin moves over Scarlet Spider and reduces his defense. Hobgoblin attacks Scarlet but is blocked. Turn 3 Scarlet uses his Spider Stingers to deal 1 damage to Hobgoblin dropping him. Boomerang deals 1 damage to Scarlet Spider. Round 4: Doppelganger wins initiative. Doppelganger moves and assaults Scarlet for 3 damage. Scarlet Spider attacks Doppelganger and is blocked. Turn 2 Doppelganger attempts to assault Scarlet again, but with some really bad rolls misses completely. Scarlet Spider deals 2 damage to Doppelganger with his Stingers. Turn 3 Boomerang hits Scarlet for 2 damage ending the game.
Winning Team: Doppelganger with 3 wounds, Boomerang with 0 wounds, Hobgoblin with 5 wounds falling in battle.
THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Doppelganger's Six-Arm Assault is a powerhouse. I didn't have the opportunity to use Razor Web Slinger. I found myself using his assault every chance I got. I think he should be in the 260 range for that power alone. His stats seem pretty good. Did you not want to make his Swing Line a mirror of Spider-Man's on purpose?
GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: What a cool concept. Do you have any plans for a Demogoblin team up? I think that would be awesome! Very fun to play with otherwise. Please let me know if there is anything else you need to know about the playtest.

Post-game thoughts: The dice were very fickle here. At first, they really screwed Team Savage over, killing off Doppelganger way too early and having Executioner waste a whole round slashing at a 1-life Havok. But then they turned around enough that T1 could pull off a victory.
Obviously a bit hard to comment on Doppelganger himself here.

Pre-game thoughts: Same Savage army as last time, but switching out the chaotic Weapon X with the more predictable Venom. Yellowjacket is Obsessed with Iron Patriot.

Post-game thoughts: While Jack Flag really pulled his weight and stopped this being a total loss, this was still a really rough one for T2. Doppelganger was no small part in that, making heavy use of his SA. Meteorite did make him lean towards that more heavily by blocking his clear sight, but the SA still felt like the superior option in most cases.
THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: He feels alright at 240, but Six-Armed Assault is absolutely vicious. 3 attacks of 4 is just really solid, even if it can’t be boosted by powers or anything like that.
GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: I do feel like Six-Armed Assault overpowers the other options a bit. But overall, he’s a fun unit, and I do see moments where I’d use Razor Web Slinger or his normal attack, they just didn’t come up in these games for a few reasons.

It's one of those situations where I could certainly see fiddling with him more (toning down S-A A and buffing R W-S), but I also don't think it's a crime to send him off to FE if you're happy with him. After looking at mine and Jekyll's tests, I personally like 250 or 260.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
