I'm fine with the 3 life, just making sure it was just because he was an old guy taking a suit for a spin once in a while.

If others are fine with Imposing Presence then I can live with it. And it wasn't so much the size of the mini thing, part of that commentary was due to Margloth mentioning him being large. But the other part was that I didn't know what was special about him that made him so imposing, as opposed to a ton of other characters that would probably be more imposing/scary than him. But that's just the theme nerd coming out, so Imposing Presence could work.

Stane's the sort of "master industrialist" character - he can make people wither when he's a frail old man in a boardroom, nevermind in a gigantic suit of armor. I'm not sure if Imposing Presence is PERFECT, but it's the same sort of theme and I don't think there's a reason to reinvent the wheel.

Oh, and I like Industrialist for Class and... Manipulative is good for Personality. Something in that vein at least.

What a treat this is, I am glad to see ya designing again Margloth.

I like the reasoning behind his life of 3 since he is old, the reuse of the existing power since it seems thematic for him. I'm with LP and quozl about him not being able to use Turbo boost in the same turn as uses Surface to Air Missiles. His height/size of 5 Large seems reasonable, Class and Personality I'll leave to those who know him better.

I like the 3 life and I agree with not using Turbo Boost on the same turn as the Surface to Air Missiles. AS to the height, I'm not sure which direction to go. I agree with johnny on class and personality though.

As far as his size and height go, I can see medium 6 as he's the same mini size as Ronan The Accuser and The Hulk (hasbro) and they are medium 6 even though they are all just barely at the top of 5 levels of terrain height wise. And considering they are supposed to be over 7' tall each in the comics, I don't see how Iron Monger should be Large instead of Medium. An exception had been made for Juggernaut to be made large but that was only to represent him not being able to have his move stopped by certain powers and is totally iconic. Iron Monger being Large would make him immune to a lot of powers and I can't see anything that would warrant that.

I had considered doing this, but thematically couldn't really come up with a thematic justification. Missiles should be more or less self propelled. But I'm not against it. We could make it more like the Pumpkin Bombs, where he HAS to fly over them, and gets the bonus if they don't fly.

As a justification for Turbo Boost (for those who seem iffy on it), according to Wikipedia, in the comics, Iron Monger's armor is more powerful and faster than the original red and gold Iron Man armor. In the movies, he also has the scene where he blasts into the stratosphere. So I figured a faster move, at a loss of efficiency, was appropriate.

Thematically, he's too busy controlling the Turbo Boost to do any aiming.

I'd like to see this:

Before moving, you may add up to 3 to Iron Monger's Move number for the remainder of the turn. If you do, Iron Monger may only attack adjacent figures this turn.

Crap. I'm on the other end of the spectrum. Considering the power set and that we're representing him in the suit, not the board room, I vastly prefer Antagonist and Intimidating (or was it Imposing? Either way).

I think that's an excellent and elegant solution that will both improve the special attack and improve its interaction with the turbo boost.

I also agree with Hahma's rationale for Medium 6.

Other than that, I think this one's pure gold.

I also agree with Hahma on the size. If Hulk isn't large, I don't think this guy needs to be.

I like Antagonist and Imposing, since that's the theme we're representing.

I agree on all accounts. Maybe if we do him like Billy Batson, Industrialist and Manipulative would be a good fit.
