Woohoo, my dad and I took back our Team Tournament crown, even with playing 20 points short. I had 4thx3 + Eldgrim, and he had Q10, Hydra, and Marcu. Four fun games, and a great final.

2 time winner of the Gencon Team Tournament

For the curious, the army of the #13 finisher on day 1 of the championship (kidscaper) was not Protectors x3 and Atlaga. That was his original plan but they forgot their armies at their hotel and got a substitute army from other people's collections. His actual army was Axegrinders x3, Darrak, and Major Q10.

Also, obviously, my army had 1 squad of Gladiatrons, not 1 squad of Gladiators.

For the curious, the armies of the take 2 finals participants were:

vegie:
  1. Knights x3, Gilbert, Finn
  2. Deathchasers x4, Raelin, Nerak, MBS
dok:
  1. Tor-Kul-Na, Marrden Nagrubs x3, Raelin, Otonashi
  2. Braxas, Greenscale Warriors x3, Isamu

In the finals, I took vegie's Deathchasers, and he took Isamu. (And some other stuff, but mostly Isamu.)

(In the four rounds of take 2, I played one of mine against one of the other guy's, then my two against each other, then the other guy's two against each other, and finally the reverse where we each took the other guy's army.)

Congrats to R˙chean! The godfather of tournament 'scape gets the title at last.
