General Flow:
R1: Nightwing and Starfire take a wound, as R Talon gets hit once on a Titans Go! Talon B and W get in position at end of round.
R2: A 4 skull attack from Starfire is too much for R Talon. Raven takes 2 wounds from the Hand. Starfire kills 2 Hand Ninja and the Skrull. Raven gets brought within an inch of death, but sends a wound to kill a hand, leaving only 1 left.
R3: Talon B and the final Hand kill Raven. Starfire tries to kill W Talon, but only lands 1 wound, Nightwing finishes it.
R4: Talon B manages to take out Starfire when she fails to finish him off. Nightwing kills the last Hand ninja.
R5: Talon drops to an Escrima assault.
General thoughts: Talons W and R dropped early, typically due to a whiff against a large roll from Starfire. Once Raven dropped, she lost attacks and had a much harder time getting through the resilience.

Unit Summary:
R1: Talons poof away, coming back behind ruins at end of round, 1 stays to run with the Hand.
R1 T3: Talon R takes a wound from Raven.
R2: Talons W and B move up, and fail to hurt the Titans.
R2 T1: Talon R dies.
R3 T1: Talon B puts a wound on Raven.
R3 T1: Talon W takes 2 wounds from Starfire. Nightwing kills W, puts a wound on B.
R3 T2: Talon B hits Starfire for 3 wounds.

General Flow:
R1: The League moves up a little slowly as the Fan 4 takes on height. Typhoid Mary takes some hits, but the Shadow Wraith manages to snipe 2 wounds on IW.
R2: The Assassin’s are unleashed. Noob yanks Reed from the pack, allowing the Talon’s to kill him, then Ra’s goes and puts 2 on IW. Noob pulls out Thing for attacks and sends the Wraith to finish off Sue.
R3: Ra’s is hurt, Talon goes after Johnny. Torch singes the Talon after him, then in a moment of desperation goes Supernova, which puts 2 more on Ra’s, roasts the Talon, and 3 on Noob. Ra’s kills Johnny. Noob whiffs and dies to Thing. Ras’s swordplay takes out Thing.

General thoughts: This massacre was won purely on the back of Noob and Ra’s. Ras’s three turns was 100% instrumental in the win, as R2 just became a solely Assassin round. Noob is a vicious pod breaker, and allowing the Talon’s to attack from height by dropping a foe low definitely helped their numbers look even better.

R1 Start: Talon R and B pop off the map.
R1 End: Talon’s appear near Ra’s
R2 T1: Noob drags Mr Fantastic to low ground, and the Talon’s kill him.
R2 T3: Talon R puts 2 on Thing.
R3 T1: Talon B puts 2 on Torch.



Who won and how many wounds did they have? Assassins win. 4 wounds on Ra’s. R Talon unwounded. Typhoid Mary with 1 wound (did nothing after initial movement) and Ubu unused.

R1: Advance. No wounds.
R2: Wrecking Crew Take initiative. Noob takes 4 wounds from Piledriver, who just misses the Wrecking Crew Roll. Both Talons completely whiff their attacks on Piledriver who was yanked down low, though Ra’s and Noob were able to put 5 wounds on him. Piledriver kills Noob. Talon’s stand their ground.
R3: Wrecking Crew take initiative again. Talon B killed, Ra’s takes 5 wounds. 2 dealt to Bulldozer. Ra’s dies. Bulldozer bulldozes Talon R in one go.

General thoughts: This one was a brutal beating. Wrecking Crew have solid stats, so was already going to be slightly rough, but the failure to complete the kill on Piledriver just left it as a massively uphill battle here.

R1 End: Talons pop into place.
R2 T1: Both Talons whiff attack.
R2 T2: Talon R kills Piledriver.
R2 T3: Talon B barely survives Wrecker (2 wounds after UR).

R3: Noob ports up by Drax to weaken his engagement with Ras. Drax kills Ras. Typhoid Mary engages Drax, and fails Pyrokinesis. Drax kills Mary.
R4: Gamora kills Noob, but still fails to kill Talon B. Drax finishes that Talon, and starts going after the other.
R5: Gamora kills Talon R

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: They’re fun. The cheap cost allows some potential viciousness from the League of Assassins against OM hub folks, but they’re still weak enough to screw it up. That move isn’t super effective against armies with no real unit of focus (such as the Wrecking Crew). They can feel scary against lower cost/more normal humany folk, but that feels right, and not too overbearing.

A loss and a reasonable win. Not seeing much cause for concern personally.

Fan Four can live or die by the timing and D20 rolls. Mister Fantastic going out in one turn is obviously rough for them.

All finished and updated. The slight concern from the performance against Fan 4 was fairly unfounded in the end. Its a big play, but not a general use one. I dig em as is for now.
