Please PM me if you want to come. Most of us have not been part of tournament and this is our first attempt.

Rules/Details:
1) Bring a 350 pt army (we will have some premade as well for you to pick from). You will play this army through out the tournament. Once eliminated, you can try out others when you are playing for fun.

2) Our main prize will be a ROTV Master Set and there will be other prizes for 2nd, 3rd, & 4th (possibly last as well). Bring $5 to go towards the prizes. As an alternate, you can bring an unopened small expansion.

3) The tournament will start at promptly at 4pm and go to 8pm-ish. Rounds will consist of 40 minutes each for the first 4 Rounds (Swiss Scoring Method). We will then have a playoff with the top 4 players participating (battle to the death).

4) Location will be Glad Tidings Assembly of God in West Lawn, PA. PM me for directions.

5) We will have some food available for dinner (please be prepared to throw in a few bucks for the meal).

6) Ages 10 and up are welcome to participate (including us old geezers in our 30's and 40's).

7) We will be using the Battlefields of Valhalla maps found on this website (see Maps & Scenerios, no lava based boards will be used).

12 days is pretty short notice.

For future tournaments you may want to post much earlier - give at least a month notice. Some of us have driven, and would be willing to drive, pretty far to go to a tourney, but with such short notice, there is little opportunity to make plans.

Sorry I can't make it, but I hope you have fun!

We had it in this thread http://www.heroscapers.com/community...ad.php?t=13169 for quite a while (at least a month) but neglected to put it in the events section right away. We try to meet monthly if you are interested, we will be sure to put the next date up as soon as possible. We would love to meet some fellow scapers. If this tourny goes well, we hope to do another in the future, perhaps in the summer.

We had 7 people show up. A number of people who said they were going to come or had interest did not show and a couple of people got sick. We hope to do another event in the future with a better turn out.

Sorry about the short notice. We used this one to figure out the dynamics of running a tournament. We have a great facility that could take from 6 to 600.

Here are some pics:
