Nebula moves up, then lets Torch & Ripper bond while Lex subtracts the enemy’s defense. Torch puts a wound on Cold. Next turn he misses an attack and misses his Dreadnoks roll so Nebula inflicts a second wound on Cold. Then Cold and Girder kill Torch.

Girder takes out Nebula. Ripper kills Glider. Ripper is then killed. Lex is then killed.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Blacksmith (0 wounds), Girder (4 wounds) win.

Luke and Nebula are taken out fast. Ripper and Torch get some poor Dreadnoks rolls early on. But their luck turns around, and Moon Knight fails nearly all his Crescent Darts rolls to balance it out. Ripper is taken out and Torch takes out Iron Fist. Moon Knight kills Torch, and Lex wins a fist fight against Moon Knight for the win.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Lex Luthor (2 wounds) wins.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: He makes for a fun pair with Ripper. I really like the theme for getting a bonus on their special attacks if they don’t move. They’re not anything amazing now, but they need more Dreadnoks as that power really benefits from having more heroes with that power. Felt fine as-is.

Pre-Game Thoughts/Preview : Low point game where both armies have some wheels. Rogues have pretty easy to access synergy, but Criminals might be able to get Hood > Dreadnoks bonding chain.

MODIFIED FLAMETHROWER: Used 6 times, 3 wounds to Captain Boomerang, 3 wounds to Spider-Mobile, 1 wound to Golden Glider. 1 bonus wound to Spider-Mobile.
DREADNOKS 9: Used 2 times, successful 0 times

Golden Glider chooses Captain Cold for Rogue Duo. Dreadnoks hop in the Sports Car, Captain(s) Boomerang/Cold get in the Spider-Mobile.

ROUND 1 : Rogue initiative.
Mostly movement. The Hood gets some shots off onto Weather Wizard on OM 3 and nearly kills him.

ROUND 2 : Criminal initiative.
The Hood tries to fire on some Rogues, but Fog Cover stops him. The Captains drive into the fray, and get some wounds onto Ripper. Street Thugs move up and, with The Hood’s help, take out Captain Cold. Magenta moves up and attacks Ripper with no luck. Torch puts the pedal to the metal and uses Hit and Run to kill Weather Wizard. He puts the Flamethrower to use, and cooks the Spider-Mobile and Boomerang for one wound each (+ the DO bonus wound).

ROUND 3 : Criminal initiative.
Brutal round for the Rogues. The Dreadnoks spend most of the round just tearing everything up, although Ripper dies near the end of the round. It ends with just Magenta and Golden Glider alive.

ROUND 4 : Criminal initiative
The Hood fires at Magenta for a wound, but Cloak of Dormammu pops. Golden Glider moved pretty deep into the Criminal backline last turn, and Magenta follows, killing a Thug in the process. The Thugs attack Golden Glider to little success. She retaliates by killing two thugs. She keeps it up on OM 3, killing another two thugs.

ROUND 5 : Rogue initiative.
Torch speeds down the center to Flamethrower Golden Glider, but no luck. The rest of the round is Torch and Golden Glider trading blows, but he runs Glider over on OM 3 for the kill.

ROUND 6: Criminal initiative.
Torch tries to run over Magenta with no luck. When he attacks, she uses Magnetic Throw Defense to toss him out of the car and to low ground (I assume that’s how the interaction would work, let me know if I’m wrong here). Magenta hops into the now empty Sports Car on her turn. Torch whiffs his Flamethrower on OM 2. Magenta runs over a Street Thug on her turn. A wounded Torch comes around the corner, and takes Magenta out with his normal attack. Criminals win!

Post-Game Thoughts : Criminals came out the gate pretty strong, but Rogues held solidly and came close to a reversal victory. Torch and Ripper were menaces all game in the Sports Car, but I felt ok being so reckless with them since none of the Rogues had particularly scary attacks.

Pre-Game Thoughts/Preview : Psylocke and Char’s Zaku might be tough for the red team. Torch and Ripper are gonna be on Zaku scrapping duty, and the rest of the team will want to slow down the mutants as much as possible.

ROUND 1 : Blue Team initiative.
Mostly just movement for both teams. Radioactive Man misses an attack on the Zaku.

ROUND 2 : Blue Team initiative.
Psylocke and Armor move up. Trickster flies across the water, and wounds Psylocke with the Itching Powder Bomb. Radioactive Man uses Radiation Blast on the mutants + the Zaku, dealing 2 wounds to the Zaku. Psylocke and Armor retaliate, nearly killing Radioactive Man. The Dreadnoks are activated on OM 2, with Torch doing some great damage to the Zaku with his normal attack. Char’s Zaku leaps into the fight, and kills Radioactive Man with The Red Comet. Ripper moves up and takes out the Zaku with Jaws of Life, and Torch deals 2 wounds to Armor after the Dreadnok bonding.

ROUND 3 : Red Team initiative.
Rick Flag moves up to keep the Suicide Squad in line, and misses his potshot onto Psylocke. Psylocke responds by absolutely blendering Torch, and Armor deals some damage to Ragdoll. Ripper moves up and nearly kills Char, while Ragdoll harasses Armor. Psylocke and Armor both attack Ragdoll, but no wounds. Char defends against the Jaws of Life from Ripper. Trickster flies in from height, and manages to kill Armor. The round ends with Psylocke failing to wound Ragdoll.

ROUND 4 : Blue Team initiative.
Psylocke can’t move at all thanks to Itching Powder, but she doesn’t need to as she kills the adjacent Ragdoll. Ripper kills the adjacent Char. Trickster tries to attack Psylocke since he has height, but he takes a wound from MMA. The round continues with Ripper/Trickster vs. Psylocke ; she kills Ripper and Trickster is heavily wounded, but so is she.

ROUND 5 : Blue Team initiative.
Psylocke finally takes out Trickster, but she’s so wounded that a single wound from Flag finishes her off. Oracle takes OM 3 and moves up ; Flag shoots her but whiffs.

ROUND 6 : Blue Team initiative.
Flag spends the whole round kiting Oracle, who takes 2 wounds.

ROUND 7 :Blue Team initiative.
Oracle manages to get adjacent to Waller, and nearly kills her. Flag fails to wound at all this round.

ROUND 8 :Blue Team initiative.
Oracle takes out Waller, skipping her OM 1. Flag and Oracle spend the rest of the round fighting, and both are heavily wounded.

ROUND 9 :Blue Team initiative.
With the initiative win and Secret Attack Plan, Oracle secures the victory. Blue Team wins!

Post-Game Thoughts : A war of attrition, but the blue team won it out.Torch got killed fairly early, but he got some solid wounds in. The initiative powers the Zaku and Oracle meant the blue team always had the first step in this game though.

General Thoughts on the Tested Unit : Fun little Criminal. The Dreadnoks are feeling like some glass cannons right now, which is cool niche within the greater Criminal synergy web. They can do surprisingly high damage, but that 4L/3D won’t live through much. I think he’s fine at 85.
