First LOUISVILLE, KY Tournament - OCT 27th!!!

I have talked to a local game store who said they would be interested in hosting a Scape tourney on Nov 3. But I need to get an idea of how many people would be interested in coming before I can get it locked down. So please shout out if you think you could come, this does not have to be a definite, just an "I think that sounds like fun."

We have a conformation from Rick at Pet Shop Comics that we are good to go on Saturday Oct 27!

TIME: Set up and registration @ 11am, start @ Noon
Duration: 5 round Swiss (50min rounds) - 500 points - 1 Marvel hero allowed - No customs
Cost: $5 - all entry fees go to prize support (Please bring a prize if you can too!)

I am working on picking out some maps to play on, but if anybody has any preferences or suggestions feel free to let me know. Rick at the store has just recently started to carry Heroscape and if we have s good turn out it might help HS get a better foothold in our local gaming community. Also the 27th is Pet Shop's "Game Day" where they stay open all night and play every game imaginable, so plan on hanging around after the tourny if you can!

Talked to Rick again today and he had wave 7 in stock and will be getting some more for those who need it. He also said that he has a few (5-6) customers who are into the game, but he doesn't know if they are on the forums. I am working on a flyer to hang up in the store so we could get the attention of more people. If you want a copy when I get it done just let me know!

Good luck with this -- unfortunately it is the same weekend as the Indy Game day (I'll be setting up the room that Saturday night so I can go to church Sunday morning and get home and be ready by noon), so I can't make it. Louisville is only about 2 hours away, so maybe next time.
