Well yeah...if Superman punches any normal Human he should probably be dead. Sgt. Rock doesn't fight Superman though he fights other Humans mainly. So using a Superman punch as your defense isn't really selling me on anything.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

(Not trying to make a point either way here, just thought it was a funny cover.)

I think part of the problem is that the design is an OM hog leader who wants to be engaged. That means the above-average survivability really helps him out. If he's frail and can potentially fall in a single blow, that really hurts the design as a whole because you don't feel safe putting OMs on him or getting him engaged. Kick-Ass can feel like a real bummer at times for that very reason, but he's only 40 points and you don't really have to put OMs on him like you do here.

I think YK's comment is less about theme and more about mechanics. In this game, he will be fighting Superman, Hulk, and Darkseid. And those guys can make Battle Hardened with 4 Life effectively a useless power.

I'll second that I think 5 Life, 3 Def, Battle Hardened is a reasonable compromise.

Fire Ant Swarm. Killer Bee might be a less swingy/easier to pull off version for 5 points more, though.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
