Re: The Book of Vampirella ~ Vote for On-Deck
I think our usual strategy is to make the more risqué card the alternate.

Re: The Book of Vampirella ~ Vote for On-Deck
Eh, it's her iconic look. I'd rather keep the classic on at the top, especially since the artwork isn't particularly suggestive.

Re: The Book of Vampirella ~ Vote for On-Deck
Great mod! Really appreciate going the extra mile here - not the greatest character, but she's certainly iconic, and I think she deserved that level of fidelity. Totally fine with it being the alternate, though, if people prefer that; as long as there's an option.
I do think the first power needs some TLC, though. How does this look to people? Are we comfortable using "half" here? FURY OF DRAKULON Instead of attacking, you may choose an opponent's figure adjacent to Vampirella. Roll X unblockable attack dice against the chosen figure, where X is equal to half the number of Wound Markers on the card of Vampirella or a friendly figure within 4 clear sight spaces of Vampirella, rounded down, to a maximum of 3 dice. If the chosen figure is destroyed, remove one Wound Marker from this card and add 1 to Vampirella's Attack number for the rest of the round. Old:

Re: The Book of Vampirella ~ Vote for On-Deck
Personally, I find her classic look borderline offensive, so I'd prefer that to be the alt. I'll be using the alt anyway, though, so my opinion doesn't really matter, but I'd prefer we not put anyone off trying C3G by appearing to appeal to chauvanist preferences.

Re: The Book of Vampirella ~ Vote for On-Deck
I like the order of operations in johnny's suggestion better. Reads much better to me, and I like dividing and rounding personally.

Alright, end of the day the power plays the same so I don't personally care that much! Updated with Johnny's wording.

Re: The Book of Vampirella ~ Vote for On-Deck
Yea, personally I’ve always felt like rounding is kind of unofficial, but like LP I’m not that invested.

Johnny's does read better but I agree with LP on the halving and rounding.

Re: The Book of Vampirella ~ Vote for On-Deck
Here's an attempt to make it less "round-y:"
FURY OF DRAKULON Instead of attacking, you may choose a friendly figure within 4 clear sight spaces of Vampirella and an enemy figure adjacent to Vampirella. Vampirella may by the first chosen figure. Roll one unblockable attack die against the chosen enemy figure for every 2 Wound Markers on the chosen friendly figure's card, to a maximum of 3 dice. If a figure is destroyed by this special power, remove one Wound Marker from this card and add 1 to Vampirella's Attack number for the rest of the round. It's a little tortured because the double "choosing" but it also works; you have my Yea either way. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!
