Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
The last two, yes.
Satanus has high Defense and Life. Bob and Carol are more like powerful squad figures. EDIT: Last three. I have designed a lot of T-Rex. Last edited by Tornado; November 13th, 2020 at 01:22 PM. |

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
I swapped for 6 Life, 4 Defense. See how that works, she's definitely got some battle scars so a hard beast to take down, but still just an animal that's not wearing anything bulletproof.
Also Don't Move sounds very fun and thematic, but I feel like that would really devalue the card/limit her options; I wonder if there are any ideas on that. |

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
I’m a big fan of Jurassic Park, cool to see some work in getting it to C3G, but to be blunt, the current design here is not viable IMO. It’s got two major negative powers, one ok power (that you can get elsewhere), and one power that doesn’t do anything but drive the price of the card up.
Impact Tremor is a crippling negative, the design is unplayable with a power like that. It makes her completely useless against any army of small or medium figures that can afford to spread out at all (which is most of them). Your opponent will always take a leaving engagement attack to avoid her other powers, there’s not an actual choice there unless you start swarming people with other figures (in which case you probably have better things to do than screw around with getting this card to function at the level other cards just naturally function at). So must of the time her offense is 50% of what Wasp (I) gets you... except against the 100s of cards with Disengage or a similar power. Which she is flat out completely incapable of ever harming in a 1 on 1 fight. Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
Any suggestions on how to fix.
I think I'm going to change Impact Tremor so it says "must" and not may so it drives home the fear angle (excluding Green Lantern/Daredevil types) and it's not as much of a boon to opponents. That way if the Rex can ambush a squad, one possibly dies from leaving, one dies from Bite, and one dies from attack. That's 3 in on go best scenario, unless one's a dinosaur, then that's five opportunities to do damage. So a pack of raptors would be done. Basically she wants to engage as much as possible and does well against melee squads. What if Don't Move only affected figures with revealed order markers who hadn't moved? Thus narrowing the field and forcing a more concious choice. Idk, I made the edit. Or possibly figures who haven't moved or used attacks/special attacks because that's still sort of a motion at the very least. Last edited by Splash; November 13th, 2020 at 04:50 PM. |

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
I went ahead and changed the last power from extra turns to attack die buff, realizing in my above post she gets enough opportunities to do damage.

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
I like this. I think its simpler and smoother. It does mean that in a 1-on-1 you lose a turn if you go first but that negative could be reflected in a lower price.

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
I think you will be disappointed in the last power as it will almost never activate and I do not think four powers are necessary here.
I would go with something like. Quote:
Impact Tremor may pair well with Old One Eye as you could swarm multiple figures with your other Dinosaurs and then move Roberta, forcing a LEA. A cloud can change its semblance, yet retain its will With the intimacy of destruction, One knows what it is to be alive The empty sky holds no reflection, for sorrow - Eslo Rudkey |

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
I like that take, Tornado! Especially the implementation of "Don't Move."
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
Oh yes that Don't Move is perfect!
edit: OP updated My last thought for When Dinosaurs Ruled would be defending Dinosaurs roll 1-2 less Defense die, but again I guess this wouldn't come up much. |

I’m not really convinced he should have any particular advantage in a fight against existing C3G Dinos.
