Re: The Book of Thor
Always a fun read.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Thor
Poker card updated as well.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Thor
This might be obvious, but I scrubbed through this thread and hammering out the wording on Mjolnir seemed like a toughy, so I'm not too ashamed to ask,
Is there any restriction on the order of units affected by Mjolnir? I know all dice are rolled once, but does Thor pick who is being hit first to last, in any order? And he has total control of which figures he wants to hit, correct? If surrounded on all sides plus one within range, he can choose just the figure at range, or that figure, plus whichever figures he's engaged with that he wishes to wound? |

Re: The Book of Thor
Mechanically there is no restriction on which order you have the figures defend against the attack. And yes you get to choose which figures he attacks, can be up to 1 figure not engaged to him and all adjacent figures. You lock in the affected figures when you roll attack dice.

Re: The Book of Thor
General rules question that I'm guessing/hoping Hasbro answered at some point: When an attack affects multiple figures, which player gets to choose the order in which they defend (attacker or defender)?

Re: The Book of Thor
It's always been the attacker who decides as far as I know. I've always had someone like Bane roll defense first to see if he gets KOed, since if he does then the figure next to him would be rolling 1 fewer def die.

Re: The Book of Thor
- EXPLOSION SPECIAL ATTACK : Order of Defense Rolls
Who decides what order the adjacent figures get hit when Deathwalker 9000 uses its Explosion Special Attack? The target always rolls defense first. Then the attacker chooses the order in which the other figures are hit. (Hasbro FAQ) The attacker picks the order of non-targeted figures unless it’s something like Fireline which goes by their order in the line. Re: The Book of Thor
Yup, left out the initial target first bit above, but that's how I've played it since seeing that way back in the day.
