So (by your suggestion) start of the round INCLUDES OM placement and Initiative, correct? Then we'd just need to add the timing to the card that do not have it. This would also make nearly all references to the start of the round obsolete, since I can't think of a reason at this moment to specify Start of Round that's not already included by saying "After Initiative" or whatever. But also I wouldn't update old cards to remove it.

Yes. I think that's the most consistent definition based on how both Hasbro and we have used it. Otherwise "after rolling for initiative at the start of the round" and "at the start of the round, before placing Order Markers" are contradictory and confusing.

Here's my suggested clarification/ruling.

The start of the round is the first step in a round, happening before Order Markers are place or initiative is rolled. Generally then, powers that happen at the start of the round will be the first powers to happen during a round. Some older cards may have powers that say they trigger at the start of the round, but then list another action. For example, "At the start of the round, before rolling for initiative..." These are cases of outdated and extraneous wording - ignore the "start of the round" language in these cases.

I think we should stop using "At the start of the round" period because it's like saying "During your turn" and is incredibly vague.

We need to specify anyway so there's nearly no reason for future cards to have that line.
