Head Note: This is strategy, but it just might belong in the Official Units board, I'm not sure.
A lot of new or unexperienced players choose a bunch of big heavy hitters in their armies, or just people that look cool or are "good" (more like strong). What these people need to learn is that the more turns you cn take in an Order Marker, the better your army is. When you use bonding, you're taking multiple turns back to back without giving your opponent a chance to react. Bonding is one of the best strategies in the game.
Powers that state "Instead of taking a turn with" are not bonding because you only get one move per Order Marker. Powers that allow you to move other figures (not a full turn) are still considered bonding because you're moving more than what's on the Army Card that you revealed your Order Marker on.
Some of the best bonds are Hivelord Life Bonding (Mardenn Nagrubs) because it can also heal your Hivelords, and Dwarven Strategic Bonding (Axegrinders of Burning Forge) because you get a movement benefit if you don't bond. My favorite bonding powers are Human Champion Bonding (MacDirk Warriors) and Lizard King Bonding (Greenscale Warriors) because you can keep your chosen Champion (Highand Fury) or Dragon/Lizardfolk Hero (Loyalty to the Lizard King) in battle to help your squads with the extra benefits.
