Didn't like the figure before, still don't now. No amount of back-story gibber jabber will make him look less like a nobody superhero (which is exactly what the figure is), or make yellow spandex count as 'armor'.

That's a pic of the Heroclix pre-release rendering of the figure. It's not the actual one. That's why it looks so odd.

Yes I knew the 'figure' on the card was a CGI model when I voted. The actual figure is equally stupid looking, so it doesn't change my vote at all.

I didn't expect to change your opinion, Soundwarp, but I'd like to point out for the other judges that only the red parts of the miniature are supposed to be armor. The yellow part of the miniature is a bodysuit of some sort (it is not nearly as form-fitting as in the picture on the card).

In my opinion, the Aquilla Move Enhancement is too broad. On another figure with greater thematic clout it wouldn't be out of place. If it had more selective parameters (affects only Resolute figures, Mariedians, etc.) it might work, but I think it's too much of a thematic break to have what seems a minor leader of the Mariedians boosting an entire General's forces. Acolarh's allowed to do it because he bears Ullar's banner. Jeb Vandalay, as he strikes me, doesn't fit that central role.

Can I see a picture of him with other Mariedians? I'm undecided about how I feel he fits in. If you could throw in some heroes as well (Kira, Jarek) that would be great.
