440pt Armies

Killometer's army thread thread doesn't include a thread for 440pt armies. Scape-a-Palooza II, the northeast NHSD celebration, requires each player to bring two 440pt armies so I thought I'd start a thread for them.

I actually have a slightly different motive than just finding good 440pt armies. I'm hoping to introduce several new players to the game and have them come to NHSD; they'll be competing after only a few games. I think it'd be better if their first tournament experience wasn't one of losing every game, so suggestions for armies that are easy to play are particularly appreciated.

Here's what I have so far. I'm trying to use every unit in a competitive environment; I'm four away from having RotV covered: Finn, Mimring, Carr, Drake. I'll probably take two from:

Knights of Weston x3: 210
Finn: 80
Denrick: 100
Marro Warriors: 50
Total: 440pts, 18 hexes

Arrow Gruts x3: 120
Swogs x2: 50
Mimring: 150
Krug: 120
Total: 440pts, 17 hexes.

Agent Skahen: 120
Agent Carr: 100
Nakitas: 120
KMA: 100
Total: 440pts, 8 hexes.

However, I'm also tempted by what I think is the perfect point total for Kumiko to shine (yes, I know Raelin does a better job here):

Glads x3: 240
Blasts x2: 120
Kumiko: 80
Total: 440pts, 21 hexes.

And here are a few ideas for easier to use, but powerful, armies (the first three suggested by Killercactus in another thread):

Stingers x6: 360
Raelin (RotV): 80
Total: 440pts, 19 hexes.

Minions x4: 440
Total: 440pts, 12 hexes.

4th Mass x6: 420
Total: 420pts, 24 hexes.

10th Foot x4: 300
DW9K: 140
Total: 440pts, 17 hexes.

Braxas: 210
Charos: 210
Marcu: 20
Total: 440pts, 5 hexes.

440 (this one isn't all that synergeriffic, but it's all WW2 guys, and it gets Drake in an army.)

No Marvel, alas. I like the first Cap one though. The standard Thanos approach works at this total well enough:

Thanos: 360
Rats x2: 80
Total: 440pts, 9 hexes

If Marvel were allowed, and I hadn't already used all of these units, I'd be tempted by something like:

Venom: 150
Braxas: 210
Rats x2: 80
Total: 440pts, 11 hexes.

(same as above, but substituting KA for his special attack)

I also thought of the Arrow Grut and Minion armies posted, but I didn't think I should borrow so many untis (I own Arrow Gruts x0 and Minions x0).

Which reminds me: anyone want to loan me a Kaemon Awa for Scape-a-palooza? (I'll ask again in the appropriate thread once I confirm I can go.)

Can't wait to see Jexik's armies! (Though I imagine they will again use units I don't own. Shucks.)

I'd also be interested to hear if anyone has experience with the Skahen/Carr/KMA/Nakita army. I thought about that too, but I don't think it's quite competitive. (I do own all those units though!)

I've done that. My advice "Don't do it! It's a trap!" It looks so delicious like a big pile of too many oreo cookies. But that that's the trap Theres just too many. There's no milk to wash it down with!

All I'm saying is if your gonna take more than you can eat at least make sure you have extra milk in the fridge before you begin the feast.
