I got my D3 today

The quality isd top notch. Thick cards sweet paint jobs. Makes me wonder why they discontinued the game?

Got mine yesterday. I agree- good stuff. The Ice Troll has taken over the top spot on my "ugliest sculpt" list, but that's a very small nitpick in an otherwise great wave!

I have to confess, it felt like a slap in the face from WotC to open the card packs and find a D&D advertisement inserted in every one.

Got mine yesterday, and I played a match tonight! I have to say that, overall, the paint jobs have saved a few otherwise lackluster sculpts ('Chasers most of all).

We played a one-on-one, 500 pt match. I took Moltenclaw, GSWx2, 'Chasersx2 and a Mindflayer. My opponent had Othkurik, OPx2 and Shurrak. Yes, it was a DND themed match. It was fairly even - we played on a lava/road map, so both sides were able to make use of the terrain.

So, having now tried out three of the new wave's army cards, I'm lovin' it!
The 'Chasers were able to scramble onto road before the match even began. Moltenclaw dies quickly if his screen fails, but he can do a lot of damage in the meantime. And the OP (even without the orcs to bond with him) was quite the menace!

Can't wait to get in a few matches with some of the other stuff!

I actually enjoyed destroying the DnD ads. I stabbed them, ripped them up, cut them, and even chewed on one of them. Great way to remove stress. Only I didn't have any, because I had just gotten my new 'Scape. ^_^

I got mine today - one of my Pulverizer's eyes were painted too red. I call it the "Demon Ogre."

I love the metallic look of the Mezzos! The Frost Giants are cool - I have 3, they look awesome standing next to each other. Siege looks sweet, as does Moltenclaw. The Orcs and Brutes look a bit dark, but that just adds to their over-all theme. I was surprised, however, at how big the Master of the Hunt is! I was like "Woah!"

I have a Greenscale that looks like his eyes were stabbed out with a can of orange paint. Need to fix that for sure.

We got ours today.

I have to say I was pretty confident that these sculpts would not be up to the standard we'd seen before. I was worried about almost everything & I thought the Mezzodemons, in particular, did not look right.

But in the end almost everything looks great and fits in well. The Mezzodemons look just terrific, I think the deep bronze color was an excellent choice.

The funny thing is Eltahale, who I thought looked the best in the photos, is brighter than I expected & appears to be and does not do justice to the sculpt. She is, I guess, in desperate need of a wash. I will try to summon up the courage to make some very watery black paint & try to fix her up.
