Re: Public Design Post
What about this:
Name -Ant-Man Secret Identity - Scott Lang Species - Human Uniqueness - Unique Hero Class - Thief Personality - Tricky Size/Height - Tiny 2 1 Life Move 5 Range 1 Attack 2 Defence 3 Points ??? Amateur Insect Control After revealing an Order Marker on this card and before taking a turn with Ant-Man, you may first take a turn with an Insect Hero you control. Small but Mighty Figures who are not Tiny subtract 2 from their defence dice when attacked by Ant-Man. When Ant-Man rolls defence dice against an opponent's attack, one shield will block all damage. Tiny Thief Ant-Man cannot be targeted by non-adjacent figures, can move through all figures, and only takes leaving engagement attacks from Tiny figures. Ant-Man never takes falling damage and may ignore his height of 2 when climbing. After moving and before attacking, if there is not a glyph on this card, you may choose a figure that Ant-Man moved through this turn with at least one Equipment Glyph on its card and place a glyph from that card on this card. ************************************ That means all the phantom walk/stealth elements are all in one power (I'd like to try to come up with a different power name but that's minor), and all the combat based abilities are in one power. I don't see a problem with SBM helping with attack and defence, personally - it's the tiny person's equivalent of Close Combat Expert, the same abilities being honed for both offensive and defensive purposes. I would like to try to keep the stealth dodge-esque defence, personally - it plays far more thematically than just a high defence (Thor should have as much trouble hitting this guy as Captain America does) and makes him that bit more distinct from Hank - after all, both the present Ant-Men have had their defence represented differently. |

Re: Public Design Post
I'm good with Bats' take. Still stuffed but I can live with it. If you're dead set on the defensive aspect for him, though, what about this?
TINY TACTICS Opponent's figures that are not Tiny roll 2 fewer dice when attacking with or defending against Ant-Man with a normal attack. Much more coherent, and -2 attack dice is roughly equivalent to +3 defense dice. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

As johnny said, still stuffed, but I can live with it.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Public Design Post
Any reason he has to have 1 life? The second Wasp design had 3 life, and I preferred that to the older designs with one life, made her less likely to go down super fast (which was my biggest issue with the OG Ant Man, since you probably have quite a few points tied into the bugs he controls as well)
Just a thought |

I wouldn't be against it.

Re: Public Design Post
Considering the other Ant-Man designs are all significantly less than 100 Points and have only 1 Life apiece, I feel like Scott should be in the same boat. He should get in, get out, and possibly distract a bad guy in the process - if they take the time to stomp him out, he shouldn't last too long.
All this discussion (and the Civil War trailer!) make me want to see a Hawkeye design with a "fire a Tiny figure at the enemy" special power. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!
