Character Bio - Mister Mind is an inchworm from Venus, with extraordinary telepathic abilities. He can easily control the minds of others, and is a long-time nemesis of Captain Marvel (now known as Shazam). He often utilizes his Monster Society of Evil to enact his plans. He may not look threatening now, but this is only his larval stage...

ATTACK = 3

CONQUERING PARASITE
At the start of the game, place Mister Mind on an enemy Unique Hero's card. While Mister Mind is on that card, that Hero is the Host. At the end of each of your player turns, if Mister Mind has a Host, place a green Mind Marker on this card. When the Host is destroyed, immediately replace the Host with Mister Mind.

MENTAL DEMAND
After revealing a numbered Order Marker on a card you control, if there are:
• 3 or 4 Mind Markers on this card, instead of taking a turn, you may remove 3 Mind Markers from this card to take temporary control of the Host and take a turn with it.
• 5 Mind Markers on this card, instead of taking a turn, you must remove 5 Mind Markers from this card to take temporary control of the Host and take a turn with it.
After taking a turn with the Host, you may not take turns with any other figures you control.

MONSTER SOCIETY MANIPULATIONS
Whenever the 20-sided die is rolled for a figure within clear sight of Mister Mind or the Host, you may remove a Mind Marker from this card to add or subtract 2 from that roll.

THE MONSTER SOCIETY OF EVIL
When a Unique Hero within five clear sight spaces of Mister Mind or the Host attacks a figure engaged with at least one other figure you control, if no wounds are dealt, you may roll 1 unblockable attack dice against the defending figure.
So the red part is just adding back in the ability to take over a new host. Not sold on whether or not he needs that back in, but the general streamlining felt like it made room for it. Monster Society of Evil is a change, encouraging some slight swarm tactics (Unique Heroes have to attack, but anything can be the engaged ally), which feels Conquerory and keying in on the idea that his main foes (The Captains Marvel) all have some beefy defenses. I did drop the Conqueror Class thing for now as it really didn't add much. Probably necessitates a name change for the first power.

Whenever your opponent rolls the 20-sided die for a figure they control within 5 spaces of the Host, if there is at least one wound marker on the Host's card, you may subtract 2 from that roll.
Basically, make you be using him to start getting the D20 power, rather than encouraging allies to hit him. That way, you may get lucky and get it quick, or it may take a while.

Suggested tweaks on the first power - don't have time to dig into the second one. Blue is a mechanical change, but it makes the power a lot more digestible, IMO. Not sure if the difference came up in testing.

Changes are meant to streamline wording, clarify timing of Mind going on the card, and clarify when it stops being the Host.

Been a while since this write up, but I think we generally liked the place. I think there's a bit of text in Mental Demand that we've agreed was safe to start cutting since the write up that can save some more space.

There are few telepaths who gain a boost to a power from adjacent friendly telepaths, if he chooses one of them as his host shouldn't they get the power boost from him too?

A Skrull Infiltrator will be a soft counter draft. When the Host dies it will force a roll off between the Skrull and MM getting to replace the Host(if it is small or medium).
