A. But I've grown to like no blank powers plus getting to choose the option rather than be forced into one seems more like a trained fighter to me.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

This is her 'rookie' card, hence the protege class. Her experienced card is the Black Canary I card. Which is why we're trying to incorporate Wildcat as an effective mentor and why the choice version doesn't work for me at all. Actual combat should be a little more chaotic for a someone who has only trained with sparring partners, but never been in a fight for their life vs. an experienced combatant. The differences are what makes doing these 'rookie' versions of characters interesting to me.

Alright, tallying things up:

A - AV, japes, LO
B - Karat
C - YK, Bats

With LV saying either A or B, which I think pushes A over the top - I was also waffling between A or B, so that seems closest to a consensus, and we have at least one person strongly anti-B which helps as well. If anyone else wants to throw their chips in, though, feel free!

People seem at least okay with Sonic Shatter being at 4, and I do like the symmetry with her SA there, so I think I'll stay the course with that.

Ronin's pics are linked (thanks for the quick turnaround there!), so I'll give this another day or so to see if any other votes come in and then call a vote for initial.

I agree with Yodaking's logic completely and see A as a missed opportunity to express a useful piece of theme, but it's not a hill I'll die on.

Wow I'm no the same side as LO and opposite YK and Bats...What have I become.

I like A

If you're proficient in MMA, you're going to adapt to whatever you're facing, hence why you study a mix rather than master a single art. A random chance doesn't really feel appropriate.

C is a cool option, but I'd like a name change if we go there.
