Any one else hear anything like this?

That's a scary thought. I sure hope it isn't true. Maybe the hobby shop got something mixed up?

Edit: Maybe just the distributor is stopping carrying HS, and it's not WotC discontinuing it?

That's the worst part!! Th least that Wizards could do as one last hurrah is re-release everything at once so those who just started (like myself) wouldn't have to pay astronomical prices for stuff. I'm just so [censored] right now....

I am... sad... very, very sad...

Great while it lasted.
Of course the game isn't dead, just the production of it. The game, I am sure, will still have a happy home here for quite a while to come.

I wonder how this will affect getting new people into the game?

They won't want to now. It'll just be too expensive to pay eBay prices to get into it. You think it was bad before? This is just the calm before the storm.
