Re: C3G Promotions Dept. | Wave 52: Curtain Call!
Agreed. It's more a matter of how many would be too much at once in my opinion, and in what context that applies. Like if it's just the more intensive reworks and new designs that feel like too much in a mass dump of figures, that's good information to have.

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. | Wave 52: Curtain Call!
Also keep in mind...these massive releases won't be a forever thing...just the first year or so. Since a large portion of that is the faster process of converting cards. So if 162-216 cards (3-4 54 card decks) isn't too bad I think we can hang out in that realm and comfortably get the 1.0 library moved out at a comfortable pace. There will be new stuff mixed in with those releases so there would be something for everyone likely.
But the goal is to not parse out the 1.0 library in teasing chunks lasting years. It's also about making it less a chore for us. I was big on monthly releases in 1.0 as I thought it would keep the public engaged and interested...truth is we saw no quantifiable return on that idea and it just created more work for us in creating the release posts etc. So the plan is to have quarterly releases in bulk so folks have 3 months to comb through the offering and find their favorites. We've been working on 2.0 for a year and have hundreds of cards finished. We were just curious how many released at one time would be way too many. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. | Wave 53: The End?
So long, C3G 1.0! It was quite a ride! 1537 cards in all (plus some uncosted ones) I believe?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I really love how Power Rangers turned out! We need
@Dr. Jekyll
to make a triumphant return and start converting them for 2.0. (I'd help, Dr. J.!)
