Take this from the guy who designed one of the most broken C3G designs (Mad Thinker), it is always worth taking the time to run additional tests and make sure the design it balanced, especially on these 1000+ point designs. If you truly feel that this design is ready, perhaps put an argument together for why the tests support that your design is ready to go instead of just insisting that it is ready after making changes throughout testing to tune him. I think people just want one more test with the final design in the SP which is totally defensible.

Patience. All good things come with time. My suggestion would be to take a step back and breathe.

As a bit of an aside, the general consensus I'm seeing herhere is for 8 life at 1200 which doesn't seem too unreasonable, but I would caution you against haste in making decisions/changes. Let this sit for a bit and give others a chance to weigh in. Another 24-48 hrs won't kill the momentum and there's still plenty of time to get one or maybe even two simple units completed by April

I've done that. Several times and in several posts. I was ignored.

I wouldn't say you were ignored so much as questioned on it. Its inevitable that others won't necessarily agree with your assessment. Sometimes it takes trying to see things from there or angle, or in the case of more testing, to get one more set of tests in.

I'd wait out 24 hours on the first vote you called for. Several heroes & CRB members have not had a chance to weigh in on that vote yet. You might find one or more of them support your position but you haven't given them time to even log in and read the proposal yet. These votes and discussions are not live, people drop in and comment or vote when they can. If that doesn't look like it can pass, then change the proposal and call for a new vote.

Oh, and for the record my yea vote for the first proposal is not transferable to the new proposal. I don't want Thanos with the Gauntlet to feel like a push over, I'd rather him feel like a challenge, so if we err in pricing in an attempt to make the 1200 point level work then I chose to err on the side of 9 life.

INFINITY GAUNTLET
Start the game with the Glyph of Infinity Gauntlet on this card. When Thanos rolls to lose the Glyph of Infinity Gauntlet, add 1 for each glyph's power that has been gained.

INFINITY QUEST
At the beginning of the game, choose an opponent to place a Glyph of Infinity not in the game on the battlefield. Thanos may then equip any other. At the end of each round, if there is an Infinity Glyph that has not been added to the game, the player who won the initiative that round must place one on an empty space on the battlefield. Glyphs cannot be placed within 3 spaces of any figure or Glyph.[/INDENT]

I think he's best with just Shadow Thief, or perhaps Shadow and Jason and/or Ragdoll. The current Headpool design also would work. Also Stan Lee because, hey, 50 points to block an attack on Thanos is a good deal.

Overall I'm not super concerned but I agree high value, high variance designs like this one are worth taking a longer look at.

@Lazy Orang , seems like everyone's alright with letting you start up Wreck-Gar now, as a special circumstance due to time constraints.

I think everyone is in agreeance here that Gauntlet Thanos is looking to be one of the project's most epic units, and thus, taking as much time as needed to iron out the details and balance is worthwhile. LO, you would not be the first person to have frustrations when a unit needs to be held back a bit and you're chomping at the bit for your next design. I've had this occur to me frequently over the years, and I am sure others have too. It can be quite frustrating, especially if you don't agree with what others are saying, but it's a good obstacle to practice overcoming because you will come across situations like this in other aspects of your life at some point (jobs, relationships, finances to name a few).

That all said, I have not been following the design process closely enough to have an opinion on balance here.
