Second army test up! He dominated! I think I'll actually go with 30 life, still, but make his lower level of eating 3 pieces again. I'm OK with how 30 life and 3 pieces felt in the second Fan Four test. If attackers struggle or if he's on a smaller map, he'll still make them pay.

Yeah - kind of annoying to see Thor go down in 4 attacks, though, or Cap go down in about 2! I need those guys! Poor dice.

I was just talking about from Galactus' perspective. Yeah the Avengers probably didn't have any fun that match.

Black Panther was about the only one who didn't go down like a wet blanket, but even he had two wounds when his section of the Earth was eaten.

I'll try to do the last two army tests tonight and arrive on a cost to propose for playtesting. In the meantime, I was hoping to get input from folks on this:

By the end of this one, there was only one 24-hexer remaining, which Galactus occupied. He could have eaten the last space with figures occupying it in Round 6, but he would’ve taken himself out as well. I actually thought about it and if Galactus had done this, while he would not have been destroyed since he had more than 4 life remaining, at that point his team would not have had any figures remaining on the battlefield, which means to me that the game would result in a tie. I honestly think this is how we should rule things.

That's how I thought it should be ruled. I mean he's not on the battlefield it's just like having Chronos full health on his card when you lose your last figure.

I really hope we go this way - it feels really cheap to be down to one level 5 24-hexer that someone built up all the way and that Galactus is sitting on along with about 1,000 points of enemies, and he just eats that hex and ends the game.

Man ... that first map of yours has about 87 pieces and the second map has about 36 pieces. The first map I don't think he'll be able to eat through, but that second one he should burn through in about 4 rounds! Ouch!

Updated with another test. On a smaller map he feels 1700+. On a smaller map, more like 1400. I'm guessing we'll want him to end up at least 1600 with the way it's going so far.
