I really love this card, and i love his stat line. The 8 attack is perfect since he is stronger than superman, and combine that with his omega attack and you've got a perfect Darkseid. I haven't played with him yet, but i'll be sure to try him out later

I am pretty sure Superman is actually stronger. Superman should be rolling the same number of dice as a Fully Raged up Hulk: 11 attack dice. However, Clark is a punch puller. He never hits anyone with his full strength, except the one time he died against Doomsday.

Not to nit pick, but I just had to say it. But yeah, in an arm wrestling match, Superman is stronger than Darkseid.

the mini pdf is slightly different from the comic pdf. the blue is brighter, and the text is similar to later cards, not really a big deal, i even prefer it.

Can Darkseid's eye lasers special go through walls that are completely solid and have a ceiling? We're playing a game inside a cave, so a player is thinking he can use his lasers on someone who is 5 spaces away through the wall with a ceiling. However, logically, wouldn't counting the spaces for the lasers have to be going around the wall? So if the spaces are. 12 to get around the wall, would he be able to hit someone who is 5 spaces on the other side of that wall, or would he have to go by the range around the wall?

The big confusion is it doesn't specify the attack has to account for the range to the opponent through the object, or if it goes by the range around the object that the lasers are logically traveling.

It's not an RPG. He can hit anything that number of spaces away without having to account for going around things.

If you want you can houserule for that kind of thing or make it a property of the map that you can't fire over certain spaces. But Bats is right in that Heroscape/C3G doesn't have general rules for that kind of situation, because it's not something that would really come up more than once in a blue moon. Go with whatever seems right to you/your group.

There is no void, and the wall occupies a space, and since this power doesn't require LOS, you can count spaces through the wall. You only count spaces around something if there's a void in the map itself.
