If they were “never considered engaged” (similar to vehicles), would that work? That way, standing next to a pile of maggots doesn’t stop you from shooting at Batman, etc. Gives them a distinct role from the Skrulls.

Not being able to do is what I meant. I guess I get messy with the wording there because you "take" a swipe. Apologies.

I can roll with it, but fwiw, if there's a pile of maggots in front of me, I might get too grossed out/distracted to shoot at other people. Maybe not int he heat of battle, though.

Guess I could see it either way.
