GREAT RESPONSIBILITY
After Spider-Man or a friendly figure within 4 clear sight spaces rolls defense dice against a normal attack from an opponent's figure, Spider-Man may immediately use his Web Swing special power. Whenever Spider-Man uses his Web Swing Special power this way, you may choose a friendly medium figure or up to 2 small friendly figures adjacent to Spider-Man and place the chosen figures adjacent to Spider-Man after moving him. Figures moved this way will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

This is where I want to start. Wording obviously imperfect.

I think that'll be pretty useful in a Fantastic Four build. It basically should eliminate second attacks on Invisible Woman.

I guess my question here, now that you mention it, is whether you can check for Web Swing before the whole movement, or before each move of 2. Like, can you swing over, grab someone, and swing back? Or does he have to be next to Sue when she's attacked?

Yeah, 'protective movement' feels much more Spider-Man and much more reflective of the power name than 'swinging bus'.

Intent is definitely each move of 2. So he could swing 4 spaces, grab her then move 2 more. Or move 2 spaces, grab her, then move 4 more.

Spoiler Alert!

Damage Dealt: Killed Jean and gave Iceman 1 wound.

Great Responsibility: Triggered a lot and was very useful to have. Didn't keep track of how many times it triggered.

Web Swing: Always useful

Losing the autowounds of Torch was annoying here, but the X-Men just could not kill Invisible Woman for the longest time with Spidey around. Eventually Iceman got a wound on Mister Fantastic and removed an OM and things started to swing in the X-Men's favor but it was close down to the wire with Beast and Angel vs Thing.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Beast with 2 life left and Angel with 1 life left.

Great Responsibility: Again useful. Also nice to move a couple of Power Pack around.

Web Swing: Always useful

I always forget how brutal the Legionaires are. They just kinda tore up the Fan 4 and Power Pack here. Helps that their dice were hot.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Cosmic Boy 1 life left, Lightning Lad and Shadow Lass 2 life left.

Great Responsibility: Really useful for helping the Power Pack position.

Web Swing: Always useful

Spidey was swinging around being his annoying self and then he got engaged by Living Mummy using his Bandage power and got taken out due to that pulling him out of IW's aura. Power Pack did some good work here backed by IW though and they were able to narrowly squeeze out a victory.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Invisible Woman 1 wound, Zero-G and Lightspeed with 1 wound each after both healing twice.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: He's certainly valuable for a Fan4 build and a lot of fun. Swapping him in for Human Torch does leave the Fan4 a little light on offensive power. I like him where he is so far though.
