Well the main downside was essentially a game loss. Now it's just a huge loss of your forces, with a potential to get it back. He should be more powerful than Superman or Omni-Man, but more swingy because of his die rolls.
Currently he still doesn't have a defensive power, just big stats. And in the big leagues you need defensive powers or you don't measure up (Ran into that with Lady Death. Her stats and powers are amazing, but she can't fight other people in her range even with her good defense and life). He could totally justify a Man of Steel type power, but if we just leave it off he's already much more beatable for a unit of his cost. And if he DOES run away, that's half your army gone. Just do some clean up and you win, if you manage it before he comes back. |

Yep, I was gonna say, could still be a game loss here. If he's half your army and the other half get taken out, you just need to turtle until he rolls 1-7 and it's game over.
Interesting direction. I can support it. Omni's no chump in the "rip people in half" department, though. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Taking another crack here! I updated him with the new Agoraphobia power where he runs off rather than betrays you. Exploding Suns is more powerful, only hitting opponent's figures, and the range is still tied to the amount of markers on his card, but now it's instead of attacking. Cuts down the amount of crazy damage he can do each turn, and prevents him from having 2 "after taking a turn" powers.
We could add more crazy effects to Reality Warp if you want (This guy just... willed Molecule Man out of existence). But I also worry about text space with Agoraphobia being so huge. I think we're getting there. Quote:

Getting about 475 on the calculator, but calculating the risk of losing a game because you have to put half your army on your card due to a bad D20 roll is hard to calculate. So 450 isn't a terrible place to start him, IMO.
Seems like one you'd want to play with John Constantine and/or D20 boosters, as he's brutal as anything, but that bad D20 roll is scary. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Cool, right where I want him!
He powers up a bit with the markers, so you might want to get a few of them (At least one, so he can use his exploding power). So start pretty quick with a reality warp autowound, grab that marker, then explode (Depending on matchup, of course!) |
